Convenient, Close to PVG Airport
We made use of the 72 hour visa-free stay for transit passengers in Shanghai and picked this hotel for its location close to PVG airport. The area seems a little strange, but it is close to the subway and the hotel offers a free shuttle bus. A taxi from PVG should not run you more than 70 RMB using the meter (my wife is Chinese, I can't say whether they rip off foreigners though). We were booked into an executive room. The room itself was nice and on the 17th floor there was no noise from the road. A big disappointment was that the executive lounge is closed over the Chinese New Year from February 9th to 15th. This was not published on the hotel website, so we ended up having to take our breakfast with other guests in the restaurant on the 1st floor. Also, there were no free drinks and snacks as the executive lounge was closed. We were bothered by that as having these perks was the exact reason we booked an executive room... The shuttle bus to the airport was on time, fast and for free. I would recommend the QUBE hotel to anyone looking for a new, well-maintained Western hotel with 4-5 stars close to PVG airport.

This is really nice hotel with that price
It takes about 15 minutes and less than 10 dollars from airport by taxi. Nice place and convenient to commute from airport using shuttle bus. Room is clean and comfortable to be relaxed. Restaurant is good with good price and breakfast is really great!

CLOSE TO PUDONG AIRPORT AND SUBWAY
It is very close to the Airport, they have Free Airport Shutlle, every half-hour. Only a 3-minute walk to the Chuansha Metro Subway station.

5 star...bad location for sightseeing
Great hotel...5 star...but really in the middle of nowhere - if you are coming as a sightseeing tourist. Some 45 to 60 minutes by taxi to downtown Shanghai.

new clean and close to PVG
Super close metro line number 2 - 5 stations from PVG - it only goes one way (not the maglev). McDonalds right next door. Could not regulate A/C in the room...Was "just" comfortable. Get it while its nice and new as I can assure you paints peeling and concrete is cracking - it's the PRC... was there when a hojo's - same thing new branding...
