Unfortunately, I had to leave two days early [...]The hotel is in a bad location, especially in the winter. It was almost empty; all but one restaurant was closed. The spa services were limited due to the season.It would have been helpful to have had this information before booking.

The hotel tried hard to make guests feel welcome and special but the amenities were very poor. A lot of the sections of the Spa was closed off which was very disappointing considering that's what it built it's reputation on.

The hotel is very good as an overall.
Breakfast is perfect.
Only one issue I faced with them which is internet access cost which is high comparing to other in Cyprus.
Tourist area in Limassol is the best place to stay in. It is around 8 KM from the hotel.

We booked the Holiday Inn last minute because the 5 star hotel we were in had no availability for us to stay another night. We got an executive room at the Holiday Inn for $100 less than the 5 star and we thought the Holiday Inn was better than the 5 star in every way including a better view, better location, better beach, better staff, better bathroom, better air conditioning, better gym. We didn't eat at the hotel much because there were a lot of good restaurants we wanted to try in the old town which was convenient by cab or bike. An executive sea view room at the Holiday Inn will be my first choice next time.

This property excels within its category. Facilities include 2 swimming pools, children's pool, beauty and fitness centre. Great location close to both the centre of town and beach. (DB 04/09) This is a modern purpose built hotel typical of the architecture in the area. If u want to return in '70 u have to visit this place.The room was just ok with very old furniture ande broken mini bar...No room service,everything close around very early,the breakfast was ok....but the same every day.All the hotel is so old and the staff not so helpfull ....The price is so hight for so pour service...Finally a huge cockroach was in the bath room....If u want to spend some money....and have good time....dont go to Limassol...and espesially to this hotel.

I stayed 2 nights. The receptionist was very helpful and friendly; even though I had not taken my confirmation slip this was disregarded when she had located my details on the system. My room was very comfortable and well appointed with a clean bathroom and plenty of space. My only criticism is that for a 3 star there were no tea-making facilities in the room, this is standard in the UK.
I used the restaurant one of the evenings and the meal was a good standard with good attention from the waiting staff. Definitely recommended.
Check out was easy, parking was easy too. Other restaurants are in easy walking distance. The pool area was clean and looked inviting although I had no time to use it for my stay. The outdoor pool area felt open even though it is a very suburban setting and one could be very relaxed.

Kapetanios limassol is a superior 3-star hotel fully renovated and extended in 2003 to include more rooms and facilities. It is situated in the most privileged area of limassol, only 100 meters from the beach and within easy walking distance from the zoo, the municipal gallery, the archaeological museum and the city center. The hotel has 75 fully air-conditioned guest rooms, offering quality and comfort, with private balconies most of them offering sea view. Hotel facilities include lobby, bar, restaurant, pool bar, two swimming pools (one indoor), and health club with sauna, jacuzzi and gym equipment, and a conference room for 50 people. The hotel is in a great area with lots of shops within very easy walking distance (Starbucks 3 minutes away, bakeries, restaurants, etc...) in the heart of the Limassol tourist area. It is also right at the beach and has rooms with great see and mountain views. It offers a nice breakfast and at nights it offers live music at the bar. For my January stay (off season) prices were very reasonable and I would stay there again. Some negatives: 1) despite the claim of 5 stars, the rooms do not have that 5 star feel; 2) wi-fi is rather expensive (but Starbucks is only 3 minutes walk).

This property is a great value for money, with an exceptionally friendly service. The main swimming pool overlooks the Mediterranean Sea. Other facilities include a tennis court and paddling pool for kids. (DB 04/08) Modern purpose-built hotel, blending in nicely with the surrounding architecture. The hotel was beautiful. We received a complimentary bottle of wine and our covers were turned down with chocolates in the evening. The breakfast buffet was very good. The first day we arrived the front desk did not seem very helpful, but the second day we stayed, everyone there was helpful in finding local restaurants, shops, and taxis that we needed. The hotel was located pretty far from downtown Limassol and churches. We had to depend on taxis to take us places and it got to be costly. There were wonderful restaurants in the hotel, but we opted to find local restaurants with more traditional Cypriot cuisine.

Other Child Policy Information; For families of 4 one of the 2 children will stay FREE of charge. The hotel reserves the right without prior notification to cancel any reservation with an invalid or incomplete credit card number.
