Paphos Gardens Holiday Resort offers Standard and Superior Studios and Apartments (One and Two bedroom), tastefully refurbished and furnished to the highest standards, maintaining a true Mediterranean feel and offering bright airy accommodation.
Taxi transport is available in Kalo Paphos and it is bookable at the reception on request.
The rates are in Euro per room per day on self-catering basis inclusive of CTO taxes, service charges and taxes.
Additional Charges: All supplements are per person per day. Bed & Breakfast: Euro 7.00; Half Board 15.50 Euro; Full Board 24.00 Euro.

Paphos Garden Apartments: self-catering break
We stayed in a Superior Studio - 1 king bed apartment. We didn't use any of the hotel amenities, e.g. restaurant, pool, breakfast facilities as that wasn't the sort of holiday we were after but we could have. We just needed good, clean accomodation and access to a general store for some light groceries - and this was provided on the ressort complex. We bought breakfast food and snacks (mainly to keep costs down) and opted for eating out in the evening and this suited us perfectly well. The apartment comprised of an open plan living room and kitchenette, equipped with fridge freezer, microwave, cooker and dining table; the bedroom facilities were clean and comfortable with large wardrobe and dressing table; the separate bathroom was equipped with power-shower/bath, sink and toilet. Housekeeping visited once a day to keep the apartment clean. We had access to a verranda and garden furniture and spent many late evenings taking in the cool night air and sipping a drink or two! There was access to two pools but for us, sitting by a chlorine filled pool in 32 degree heat when the municipal beach was close by (and all the other beauty spots on the island) didn't seem sensible. A word of warning: there were cats everywhere! But as cat lovers it didn't bother us too much and if you do not feed them, they tend to leave you alone. Unfortunately Cyprus has a bit of a ferral cat problem but as I said it was more amusing than annoying. A great ressort and we've signed up for their loyalty scheme so we hope to use them again.

Money-saving tip:
Short walk from hotel
It can be very expensive in Cyprus particularly when food shopping; so try to steer clear of the brand names that you are familiar with in your own country. We found that if you stuck to Cypriot produce or bought comparable products to the ones you were originally looking for, you could save quite a few Euros! E.g. We needed some instant coffee, saw the Nescafe and noted how expensive it was but then looked at the product right next to it in identical packaging which was called 'Elcafe'; the cheaper product. We tried it and it was exactly the same. Almost everyone speaks English so if you ever get stuck, always ask for assistance.
