The Dorint Hotel Don Giovanni is a modern four-star hotel near the center of Prague. Its unique character is based on Mozart's legendary opera, first performed in Prague in 1787. This theme recurs throughout the hotel, from Mozart notes on the lobby walls to musical notes on the shower curtains. Beware of hidden fees!
They charge for use of fitness center, wifi, and parking is outrageously expensive. Overall, these items doubled the cost of my room. Staff was excellent though. Very helpful with directions, etc. Room was ok bed not so ok. More like two cots pushed together leaving only a firm zone in the middle. I wont stay here again though due to the extra charges.

Whatch for EXTRA charges
If you book online you will find when you get there that the parking, wifi and fitness center are all only availble for an extra fee. Parking is about 25 Euros a day, Wifi and fitness center are about 12 Euros each per day ending at midnight regardess of what time you start. Other than having the daily rate just about double because of the add ons, I was very pleased with the helpful staff and the buffets were pretty good. It's hard to find good coffee anywhere around this pace though. Train station is right behind hotel and trains are excellent! Clean and screaming fast, running often. I love the train system. It's also easy to figure out. Just 3 lines 1, 2, or 3 and they're each a different color too! Would stay here again if I didnt have car to park.

Subway train entrance very close to hotel. Green line, will take you right to Prague Castle or shopping or whatever. Excellent train service.

Good deal
The hotel is very nice, all services, comfortable and subway is exactly there. Same line to go everywhere: Wenceslao Square, Malonstranska, and connect to main train station. Also buses pass in front of the hotel. The most important remark is the service, I faced a situation and Manager and personnel involved worked promptly to solved, they were totally customer service driven.

Nice room for the money
Excellent room for the price. Metro stop, bus & tram access next to the hotel. Short metro hop to major tourist areas. Didn't see much in the way of cafes or grocery/shops near. Parking & WiFi were expensive. There are 2 free computers in booths in the lobby. 1 was working. If you use their computer, keyboards are challenging due to language differences. Room had mini-bar that I didn't see listed, a welcome find. Food and drink at the in-house restaurant ok, not special, & hotel pricey. Staff helpful, not a lot of sightseeing and tour info at hand though. All staff spoke excellent English.

Perfekt gelegen,gleich neben der U-Bahnstation
War für uns sehr angenehm, leider war das Silvester Gala Dinner überteuert, so assen wir in der Stadt, ca. 10 minuten mit der U-Bahn.Die Minibar war zwar gefüllt, doch die Kühlschränke funktionierten in allen Zimmern nicht.Als Entschuldigung: wir warten auf Neue, Ich glaube schon lange.Sonst war aber alles okay.
