Galileo Hotel Prague

The hotel was a very good value and a great location for me because it was located between two metro stops and several tram lines into town. Breakfast was good (except for the coffee that was produced by one of the machines that can give you several kinds of coffee, all of the weak and for the most part undrinkable). The room was clean, however the housekeeping staff seemed resistant to resupply each morning all things like soap and shampoo. The front desk however was very helpful. Overall it was a good experience.

We booked a double room but received a twin room and was told its an extra 30 euros a night to upgrade to a double. This was disappointing as we booked and paid for a double room. There was tea making facilities but tea and coffee was only on request and at a charge, there was no complimentary tea or coffee! Breakfast is not good! If you just want a juice and some pastries then that's fine. As a whole the hotel is clean and looked after the staff are OK but don't be fooled by the photos of the rooms the hotel have on their website!

Myself and my Girlfriend Arrived at the hotel for 4 nights and got a free shuttle bus to the hotel from the airport and €6 back to the airport when leaving. Staff are really friendly and kind. Rooms are average and beds are cozy. Breakfast on the 5th floor with a different style of food for breakfast, quite nice too. nice views from the breakfast area. 15 min walk to wencelas sq, lovely restaurants there. lots of attractions to see.

Wonderful hotel! Great breakfast that came with the room. Within walking distance to all the great sights. The pubs close to the hotel were smoky but awesome. The only drawback was the walls were thin and the tram was very noisy. The price was right and we would return.

Very nice room with very comfortable bed, nice drapes to make it dark in order to sleep and beautiful decor. Only complaint was that I had to take a lukewarm shower, never able to get hot! Finally ended up rinsing my hair in the bathroom sink as the shower became too cold. When it is cold outside it is nice to come into a hot shower:-(

It is a nice place. lack of furniture at the room though... anyway, value for money. Strange they don't have a restaurant at the hotel (only for breakfast), so no room delivery but you can find many bars & pubs with good food nearby. Overall we enjoyed.

we liked the Galileo very much, clean, roomy rooms and we loved the location, plenty of interesting restaurants all around. Hopping on tram 22 got us downtown in seven minutes and they run at 5 minute frequency. Staff was friendly and helpful. Breakfast was included. All in all we thought we had a very good deal.

Great hotel, beautifull rooms but the staff is ordinary to say the least. Got a fine room with no heathing. Told the receptionist with no action taken from them. The gentleman replacing the young lady tried to help but could'nt. Finaly they transfered us to another smaller room with no help from them. The hotel is beautifull but understaff. Inexpensive for a four star.

Beautiful hotel, great location, great staff, FREE airport pick-up, great breakfast and all amenities are up-to the standards of 4 STAR++ hotel

Lovely hotel, great breakfast, helpful staff, comfortable room, but there were no tissues and the soap was so small, we had to purchase our own tissues and soap. Czech TV was awful - so little to watch in English. The Vinogradhy neighborhood was really pretty to stroll around in and so close to the main sites, using the Metro at Namesti Miru station. Would definitely reccommend this hotel to friends.
