Nice Hotel not so friendly Staff

The Hotel is nice situated, only about 10 minutes to the old town. Really proper and the reception staff is also friendly. The Breackfast Buffet is great with a lot of things to choose. Only the juices are diluted. The staff on the bar is really unfriendly and it seems that they are not really motivated to make a good job.

Family gataway

You expect a lot form 5 Star hotels when they classified themselves as 5 Star. Generally we had a nice room and were happy with our stay, but have few comments as follow: a) Very old furniture with tatty fabric in the main lobby looked so dirty and warned out and uncomfortable to use it even for a short period of time while waiting for someone. b) Bathroom towels were also warned out some of them with holes. c) There were no slipper and we had to ask for it d) No hair conditioner in the bathroom, even when we have asked for it they could not provide us. The hair condition is available in even 3 stars hotel e) Soap and shampoo container were both empty. Even when we have asked for it we did not received it. It only came with the house keeping when they did the room. Even then they fill third of the container. f) Very old TV with not clear picture and few channels. I would have thought the above mentioned complained are very basic and are easy to deal with and not sure why the management avoids them.

Winter vacation with kids

The hotel is not 5*, it's is obvious. The location covers it. Location is great! Breakfast is good enough for 7 days stay. Kids have good choice to eat. The beds are not comfortable, if you pay attention to street noise-you will not be able to sleep if the windows of your room look the river side. I have read that the rooms were very cold in winter-not true!!! It was hot , we slept with the opened window and never for 7 days used a heating.

Convenient

Clearly not a 5 star hotel. Very average, no luxury. Staff rather nice but fairly average. Very impersonal style. No heating in the bathroom!!! Beds rather uncomfortable. All in all the hotel probably offers what it can for the price but don't go there for a romantic weekend as you shouldn't expect anything cosy or special. The location is good as it is close to the center and most of the things to visit. But Prague is clearly a must visit. Beautiful city full of good little restaurants and very affordable.

Location is great as you can get there by bus/subway from the airport. Clean room with a mini frig. Nice bathroom. Prague by the River and close to the old city square

This hotel was well situated, the staff were very professional, the room was fantastic, and the location was within 5-minutes walk to the downtown city square and other amenities. I would recommend it to other business or leisure travelers.

Abusive Drunken Barman

Nice Location! Not a bad room, but the air con didn't work probably, the towels had holes in them and the handle kept falling off the loo door! Good to have a free safe that was large enough to store a laptop! But no tea/coffee making facilities in the room, however you do get fast free Wi-Fi....that doesn't require a password. The staff were miserable though and we also encountered an extremely drunken barman, who was abusive and made rude suggestions to my girlfriend!! When we informed the receptionist of the situation, she didn't apologise, instead banishing us to our room!! We informed the manager the next day, who was oblivious to what had happened...but was apologetic and only offered us a free drink for our troubles. We demanded that the small charge for the mini bar and also any charges we had incurred be deducted, which it was...albeit slightly begrudgingly! Foodwise, we only experienced the breakfast buffet, which was nice...though bizarrely all the tables had dead flowers on them!?? In summary, a very average hotel, but in a great location...just don't expect 5 or even 4 star service! Enter at your peril....
