Mamaison Residence Belgicka

The hotel accommodation is excellent, the rooms are really spacious and comfortably furnished. In general it feels like home, which is the experience difficult to achieve in many hotels. Location is good, with less < 15 mins to Vaclavskie Namesti you can avoid using public transport most of the time. Also free WiFi, sauna and pool table are big pluses. If I were to be picky, I'd say that it would be nice to have some kind of a sponge and a washing liquid in the kitchen to save people staying a couple of nights to get their own (or 1-2 dishwasher capsules), also the selection of the TV channels might have been a bit better (especially in English) and the quality of pool cues and table improved. But in the end we had a brilliant stay in the Residence Belgicka. Thank you and well done!

The Mamaison Belgicka was fantastic and just perfect for our short trip to Prague. About 10-12 minutes walk from Wenceslas Square, it is located in a quiet area of Prague 2 and exceeded our expectations. Our room was spacious and had everything we needed (and more really - we were 'wowed' by the apartment). The staff were friendly and willing to help with suggestions on where to get groceries, go out for dinner and how to get places. Loved it!

No complaints about the hotel. Every member of the staff I spoke to was friendly and helpful. The room was adequately clean (even to my more than picky standards) and well appointed. It was only a brief walk to the subway station and a quick ride to all major sites. The location was quiet and curtains provided a nice, dark environment for sleeping. I slept great throughout my stay even in the a room close to the reception area. Bed was comfortable and the room was warm. Kitchen has everything you would need for preparing light meals. Great if you are looking for a quiet, clean, relaxing place to stay.

My baby requires fresh food everyday, so the kitchen in the apartment was a great solution. A big apartment allowed us to enjoy the company of our group mates while having some privacy. The internet access was farly good. We were just two bocks away from a metro station to access anywhere in Prague; and, the restaurants provided a good variety during our stay. The laundry service was another god solution. Some help with the cleaning should be included; the staff is kind but proper assitance depends on the mood or the time of the day. The rate was fair for the service.

We booked 6nts for 3 + 1 wheelchair. I was informed there was wheelchair access on the ph. When I reached the hotel there are about 10 steps before you can reach the reception. On day 1 we were told wheelchair lift was out of order and would be repaired tomorrow. Next day we were told the wheelchair lift was only for the hotel personnel. The Manager said the wheelchair lift was put for hotel registration and removed immdtly. VERY RUDE AND UNHELPFUL STAFF. I carried my daughter n her wheelchair everyday. Not even a 1 star on staff attitude. There are many nicer hotels in Prague - AVOID THIS PLACE.

We loved this hôtel as it was close to the subway and trams. I had meeting during the day and my husband and son were close the erevything to enjoy the beauty of Prague. We had plenty of space in the apartment for three adults and the kitchen was well equiped. Everything was brand new.

Spacious studios, very clean, newly renovated, a 5-10 minutes walk from Metro station. Nice quiet neighborhood.

There were eight of us and we stayed in two executive suites. Each suite had a bedroom with double bed and living area with a fold out bed and kitchenette. All beds were turned down and ready for us on arrival. Location was in a quiet residential area with restaurants, shops, and pubs. Only about 10 minute walk to edge of downtown area and tourist sites. The 20 somethings in our party loved the location, they could stay out late and walk back to hotel. They said nightlife there was great. No breakfast included, but we shopped at local stores and kept fridge stocked with fresh fruits, juices and pastry. Staff was pretty good. They helped us figure out bus and metro schedules. We took day trips on our own to Pilsen and Czecky Krumlov. The Student Agency busses are really nice if they're going where you want and very reasonable.
