Excellent location! Room was updated and very nice. Bed was very comfortable. Breakfast was excellent with ample food that seemed homemade and very nicely done. Light dinner was very good with salad, soup and appetizer type main food. All was tasty and very well done. The price was right considering everything you got. My only complaint was I could hear the your kids on the street below during the evening. Solve that by asking for a rear room. There also was a nice sitting area in the back. All in all, I would rate this very high and would definitely suggest it for ease to getting anywhere.

Local bus and train stops were right there! Hop on Hop off bus was on the main street and the bus # 26 from the cruise terminal stopped 2 streets from the hotel. A short walk to the Stroget (shopping street)

Great location, friendly staff
Close to the train station and to Tivoli Garden. Room was slightly on the small side (although not tiny!) but the staff was always friendly and helpful and both the breakfast and the evening buffets were generous. I'd stay there again!

very average
very mediocre in all respects. vaunted "free evening meal" was irrational leftovers thrown together. room was tiny and very noisy. nothing was bad, but certainly nothing was outstanding.

Clarion Collection Hotel Mayfair
We arrived in Copenhagen a day ahead of boarding a Baltic Cruise. We took the train from the airport and had no difficulty finding the hotel. Staff were very friendly and helpful - all spoke English. A room was available when we arrived so could unwind and rest from the overnight flight before heading out for sightseeing. We walked to all the local historical sights and found the hotel very well situated for sightseeing. The buffet breakfast in the morning was more than adequate. We would highly recommend this hotel and would stay there again

Short walk to restaurants, Tivoli Gardens, shopping district. Wear good walking shoes as this is an easy city to navigate by foot.

Bad time to visit
Hotel is in the middle of a MAJOR renovation - half the rooms are complete, the other half...well, let's just say it is in need of a renovation. No A/C, tiny double beds, they do not make up the rooms during your stay, e.g., no turn down service, no fresh towels, and a bathroom that you can barely turn around in without knocking into the toilet. Two positives however - location and breakfast.
