First Kong Fredrik Hotel Copenhagen

This hotel was ideal for our weekend in Copenhagen. Very clean and nearby everything we wanted to see. They were able to accommodate our early arrival after an all night flight, something many hotels would not do. The only "glitch" was at checkout when we were charged for the stay even though we had pre-paid for the room. This eventually got partially resolved although we are still disputing part of the charges. I will make sure I understand all the charges and arrangements for pre-payment in the future, ideally at check-in, but definitely before checking out, to avoid recurrence of this type of problem.

The hotel is right across from a after hours bar that opens after the bars close, we thought it started getting noisy at about 11 pm. But we heard the bass from the music and the drunks all night and morning long. The first night we had the window open as we didn't know about what was to happen later. But we had flown in from the us and were exhausted but the only way to get air in the room is to open the window, then you hear the bar and the workers the next morning. The next day we went to the desk and a nice woman offered to move us, but then her collegue checked and apparently the only other room available was outside a generator. Which would be worse. We stayed in the same room, and closed the windows at 11:00 could hear it through the closed windows. We paid a lot of money and did not sleep. Would not recommend to anyone.

Hotel was right across the street from Tivoli and within two blocks of the main shopping street. Walking distance to the train and all major sights.

Got a great rate through www.hotelclub.com, otherwise the hotel would have been too expensive. Perfect location and cool design, but warm athmosphere. Great hospitality from Mario at the front desk.

The hotel was very centrally located. It provided a very decent breakfast. The biggest drawback was the street noise. Unfortunately part of my stay was during a weekend(with a street facing room)and the noise from the partying crowds of young people, the is a club across the street, kept me awake all night. A travelling companion who had a room facing the courtyard did not fare much better. They also experienced alot of noise from other hotel customers loudly partying in the courtyard.

A most comfortable hotel in the heart of the city! The room was nice and pleasantly old-fashiones the toilet being one of the largest I've seen in a hotel like this. We enjoyed very much the breakfast, though noisy British tourists tried to spoil the feeling. Receptionists were disarming as they struggled for understanding our Swedish spoken in Finland.

Stayed in August. No air con and it was either very hot in the room or extremely noisy if we opened the window.

Super gelegen.Alles schnell zu Fuss oder Taxi oder Sightseeingbus zu erreichen und sehen. Viele nette Pubs und Restaurants in nächster Nähe. Kleine aber schöne Zimmer. Freundliches und hilfsbereites Personal.

Sijainti loistava. Meluisan tien varrella. Aamiaisen valikoima aika kehno. Kokonaisarvosana kuitenkin huippusijainnin johdosta Hyvä.

I have recently stayed mostly in chain hotels, so this one was a great change! The dark furniture makes a calming atmosphere and the old bulding seems to have a spirit. The rooms are personal (I had a single room, but had a look also in one double). Breakfast was ok, but not very wide, although the restaurant was very cool. The complimentary minibar has water, juice and some beers. Staff was friendly and very service oriented. I visited January 2013 (the drop down doesn't offer this option).
