Grand Paradise Playa Dorada Beach Resort and Casino - All Inclusive

I had a great time. I can't wait to go back. My wife and I did the dinner on the beach, and people were passing by taking our pictures as if we we celebrities or related to Obama.

Bed sheets were too small for the bed and falling off. Bathroom needed repairs but, needed three calls for the handyman to show up, to declare that he needed a part and will come back, which never happened. Music was too loud at night, with a whistling noise that pierced my ears. Reception staff not helpful, you need to "pull" an answer from them. I had stomach discomfort, as had many other customers, however, there was no attempt to help. Had to walk to doctor's office, who charged me $212 (US). All in all, I would not go back, nor recommend it to anyone.

the restaurants were terrible , staff would try to hustle you for every dollar. to have a safe in your room would cost 20 dollars a week, usually its standard in most resorts

This was a second trip to Grand Paradise and was more impressed than the first. Smooth check-in. Beautiful beach, professional staff, and always great food! Great variety at the buffets, never boring selections. The staff always has a smile and never hesitates to accomodate.

The hotel was good, the staff were pleasant, BUT on the weekends from Friday at 3:00 pm to Sunday at 1:00 pm the hotel books all the vacant rooms to the locals, when the local guests are on the resort the vacationers are neglected as the hotel does not put on additional staff to handle the influx of guests and also the locals are rude to the staff and vacationers they butt in line they walk in front of you as if you were not even there, they walk into you and look at you as if you did something wrong and don’t have very good manners. Over all I would go back again but ensure I had plans on Friday Saturday and Sundays The food was so so if you like pork and Chicken as that was the primary lunch and dinner meals

The hotel itself is very clean, the people in the hotel are very nice. Even thougth I was not used to the food they served in the buffet it was good. FYI if you are taking a one year old child formula milk or something because their milk is nasty they only have powder milk even in the stores. and remember to take baby food.

The staff is what made our stay better but other than that hotel needs work. No food past a certain time and very limited food options. The activities were limited and the hotel needs more pool time. Pool closes too early and the jacuzzi is not even hot.

This hotel was great places to stay, room was big enough for two people no more than that. We got upgrade to front ocean view because our tv didn't work in our first room. The staff was great, happy and helpful all the times. The location its great since is at the hard of the city, the buffet food was really good too, with many different kind from Dominican to European, and they also have two restaurants, that I will recommend to everyone to go to. Ok now the check in please try to arrive sometime during the week days because in the weekends you will get the locals rush and it is a lot of people and you will get stuck trying to checking, also there is a lot of the local staying in the weekend so the pools and the buffet area will get full really quick, but ones the week days arrive you will see all the attention that you will get from the staff. Please don't pay for any kind of ride most of the places are walking distance, expect scuba diving which is a 30 - 40 min. to get to the really nice areas.

I really enjoyed my stay. The hotel is very family friendly. The works go out of your way to see that you have a good stay. The beach is beautiful, and the pool great. Dont have much on tv but who cares. I would have liked to do more activities but that was because of my short stay there not their falt.

I will be briefly describing this hotel:1- The staff most of them were annoying, every time when guests needs help with something the get mad. 2- They finish their breakfast at 10am, after that there is no way to get something to eat until 12:30 when they open the lunch buffet, which they made the same dishes for the 3 days that my girlfriend we went there.[...] In the Snack Bar they prepare the same over and over in the same way as their main restaurant does. I saw Hamburger the last day that I went there, but the rest it was just breads, cheese and ham.That's all that I need to say about this hotel, I won't recommend this hotel to anyone that I know.
