Iberostar Costa Dorada All Inclusive

The most amazing thing at the resort to me was the friendliness and attentiveness of the staff and personnel. They made you feel like royalty. The room was kept clean and the food was very good.

That was my first time visit to Peurto Plata, and I have to said that my husband and I was very dissapointed. Hotel is Old and deffenitely needs updateds . We smell in our room a molds. Also it time for a new towels they were old and very harsh on our skin. Beach was agly and dirty so we don't want to walk anymore on the beach. Whoever taking care of this resorts should hire more people so the resort looks much better. There was no hard liquer in the room which suprice us. This in not our first time to be in all inclusive resorts and hard liquer was always in mini bar. In main bar they have very limited hard liquer and if you not tell what you want, so they serve you with chepper vodka. This was our last time visit Peurto Plata. Go see Punta Cana is totaly diffrent, clean and very pritty. I already write the review once, and was not posted so see if this time will be posted.

Hotel was OK! but not so great. Hotel is old and the beach are very dirty. Whoever managing this resort should focus more cleaning the beach. We are coming there to see clean beach. Whoever post this hotel on webside said you can enjoy walk for miles on the beach, but who wants to walk on agly dirty beach. I have been before in Punta Cana and was so nice and clean and beach was gorgeus. So Costa Dorada resorts you have a lot of work what needs to be done if you want to people to visit you there.

The front desk people were very accomandating. We changed rooms to get a king size bed. The hair dryer didn't work so they gave us another one for our stay. The food was ok for a buffet. We had no problems getting reservations for the other rest. The food was very good in all 3. The room was very clean with no problems (except the hair dryer). The beds are very confortable. The only problem with the staff was at the bar in the lobby. Somedays they didn't have enough people working and when there were a lot of them working they just stood around and did nothing. We took a taxti into town, make sure before you go that he tells you how much the taxti is before you leave, because the price on there board and the price the drive charged us was not the same. The pool was very big but if you have children there is not a lot of the pool they can use since most of it is little over 4 feet deep. We were a little disappainted in the beach. They don't have the white sand and crystal blue water that you see in Punta Cana. Take bug spray. We will not be going back. Punta Cana has them beat hands down.

That was our 3rd time in this resort - we just love it. Nothing is better for a family.

The resort is definitely a slice of haven: - Spotless rooms - Delicious food - Beautiful beach - And very friendly and punctual staff. Will definitely come back soon!

My boyfriend and two other couples just came back from a 4 nights and 5 days vacation from Iberostar Costa Dorado. Our consensus - We Loved It! The staff was the key to the whole experience. They all made the resort relaxing, fun and memorable. Cappuccino and Laptop were great entertainers who kept the crowd lively day and night. I'll like to also mention that I felt absolutely safe at the resort. There were day and nights guards standing watch at the beach and the gate. The atmosphere was friendly without any college kids. The pool area was not as noisy as I would have expected during the day. I was not in love with ALL the food, but you can definitely find something you can enjoy for each meal. The most disappointing meal during my time there was at El Bohio specialty international/seafood restaurant. It was food that you could have had at the buffet.

The hotel is extremely well kept and the staff is exceptional at making the whole experience wonderful...we will definately go back with the whole family

i stayed for a week, overall was pretty good, my only problem was that the hotel don't have regular electric outlet in the room, if you need to charge your computer, phone, or just to connect anything else you need to buy an adapter otherwise you won't. while i was there i ate at the same restaurant, i didn't want to go to try a different one because the food was just amazing.the place is beautiful, you won't regret it. I'm planning to come back.

The Costa Dorada Hotel is a little older but dont let this fool you. The Hotel is well maintained and in an outstanding location. The hotel amenities from the rooms to the restaurants are outstanding. Go for the $20 per night unadvertised upgrade for the beach front rooms. You have to wait until check in to go for this or the Jr Suite option which is $40 per night. The maid service is outstanding rooms were very clean and fridge stocked constantly. The food is way good it is in the outstanding range as far as taste and quality. Dont miss the Lobster with Paella on the beach for lunch (Tues and Sat) and the labster at dinner on thursday. I have spent time in Hotels in Playa Dorada and Punta Can...This place rivals and in someways bests the Barcelo, Bavaro Place Deluxe. The only ding I can give it is the beds are a bit hard
