Presidential Suites by Lifestyle - All Inclusive

very relaxing, this is a huge complex you can use all of their hotels, you can walk or take the shuttle, is beautiful, it was a great experience

Relaxing fun time very romantic our room was clean very nice furntiure the staff was great very friendly no complaints at all

We all paid for the king upgrade AND DID NOT GET IT - they were sold out - no money back - nothing. Wait staff wonderful - front desk people left a lot to be desired. Pools, drinks - good. will I go back ? NO

Generally, it is nice but must be aware of difference between non member called VIP and VIP member if you join the VIP member , extra charge. that is all.

The staff was great, the room was very nice and comfortable. The jaccuzi was a sexy and relaxing part of the room. The only thing I did not like is the whole VIP thing it makes you feel second rate, I was able to enjoy a few VIP amenities. Nothing so extra VIP about it at all.

Arrived at the resort to be informed at front desk that it was not an all inclusive and we were restricted from assisting certain areas, beaches, sports bar, clubs and other areas! Worst experience ever! Did not even have water in the fridge and a brown substance came out of the tub when i turned the shower....

I thought the hotel was great, lots of services, good drinks, great food, the only thing i didnt like was that you needed a shuttle to move to most places since the resort is preety big, walking is possible though. Also that most of the services you must be a VIP member to fully enjoy all the ammenities of the resort. It was peaceful, many pools to choose from. I would definetly return

I stayed at the presidential suites by lifestyle. When reading the description it states that that rate includes 24-hour Room service, iHome Audio System, and Full in-room Mini Bar Service. Our mini bar was stocked with two waters two beers and two sodas. Sometimes the minibar was restocked and sometimes it wasn't. There is NO 24hour room service. If you stay at the presidential suites they only have one restaurant that isn't open daily and when it is open its for a short amount of time. If you want to eat you have to take a shuttle to another part of the resort. We were also told we would have access to different restaurants and when we checked in they told us that it was limited and we only had a few to choose from. Daily activities weren't listed in the lobby and if we wanted to find out what shows were happening that day we had to travel to another part of the resort where they had a schedule up and information about the weeks activities. It rained two of the days I was there and the iHome audio system would have been a good thing to have but it was no where to be found. The staff was helpful and very friendly. It helped that my boyfriend is Dominican and spoke the language, they warmed up to him pretty quick. In order to have access to everything the site is offering you have to be a vip member and own a package/suite. When we asked why we didn't have access to what other people seemed to have access to they told us it was because we booked through [...] and not through them so our all inclusive amenities were limited. I would have liked to have known this because I could have stayed on another part of the lifestyle resort for HALF the price and get the same amenities we got. The place is beautiful but a waste of money if your not going to get all the amenities they describe.

Overall the trip to Presidential Suites by Lifestyle was a great time. We traveled to the Domincan for a family wedding with a large group. The accomodations are nice overall but the details were a bit lacking. It seems the Domican is new to the hospitality industry and still needs to get the customer service piece a bit better. Take cash...everything is cash and the deals always change depending on who you are dealing with, vendors are invited in to the resort and you are accosted on every corner by sales people trying to get you to buy a timeshare or trinket. It gets a bit tiresome. The power goes out frequently, a minor inconvienience. Rooms are spacious and nice. The pools and beach are wonderful. people are generally very nice but do not speak very much English, I wish I could speak Spanish I believe it would have changed the dynamic of the trip considerably, I would have felt like I wasn't being hussled every time I dealt with sales or activity people.

My husband and I wanted to getaway just to relax. Our stay at the Bungalows was exactly that. The services provided and the staff were outstanding. Everyone was so friendly. I will definitely recommend this resort to our family and friends and look forward to returning to Puerto Plata and the Bungalows again.
