BelleVue Dominican Bay - All Inclusive

We have travelled all over the Dominican, this was just above average. It was quite quiet which is what we were looking for. The beach was nice and well kept, the guards do a great job keeping the solicitors away from the guests. So this is the place if your strictly looking for a tan and some good rest. The food selection was not the greatest but at least you a bit of options almost anytime of the day and you won't get sick! The cleaning service was excellent and if you need anything the front desk was very helpful! The staff is what made the trip a great experience for me and my husband, who's a resident there. I didn't do any excursions with the hotel but rented a car and we did our own. This is a very safe hotel! The price is better than most hotels in boca chica. You must try the a la carte restaurants, they were excellent!!!! Have a safe and pleasant trip!

Rooms are out dated but is a place to sleep. Dinning staff is exceptional. Over all staff is great. You get wat you pay for as far as room eye appeal. Food was ok which worked well for me. Didn't over eat.

I am a single mother of two girls and needed a vacation from all my stress. I chose to fly to Santo Domingo and stayed at Bellevue Domincan Bay Resort. I traveled alone and had a great time. it has been the best vacation ever. The staff is very friendly and make you feel comfortable. The food was great and my best choice of alcohol beverages was beer and wine :). The night life was great. its very relaxing. when I read some of the reviews I was scared of the choice I made but now that I experienced it my self I will do it all over again. actually im already planinig to return :) enjoy it !!!!

You get what u pay for the food its horrible the location ok

I arrive at the hotel a day after vmy reservation start date. I arived at 10:30 AM and the room was ready at 2:00 PM. They charged me the night before but does not give me the room early. The room had old furniture and a 25 inch tube TV. The room does not have phone, blower or equipment to iron. The pillows seems to be made out of socks. The menu was almost the same every day, not good, no variety and poor quality. My fiance and I had abdominal pain, nauseas and Diarrea. We did not eat out of the hotel. The beach is abouth 2 miles from the hotel.

The location is not safe. The room was also not cleaned well enough.

first, the waitting at the front desk,then no ac. at the room,after informing the front desk of my room ac not working it took more than 4 hrs for someone to show up and repair the ac problem, no working phone in room,if there is any other option avoid this one.

There should be more variety in food and beverage quality better

This was my first time in the Dominican Republic and I had a great time. I was a blank slate and didn't know what to expect. What I found was a wonderful staff, a beautiful resort, and very comfortable environment. My first room was a nightmare that required them to change me to a better building.....stay away from Bloque 1. All in all I truly enjoyed my time there and wouldn't hesitate to go back, however I probably want to try some place else. Downsides the food was mostly average and the drinks definitely lacked that special something. But go and enjoy the beauty of this place.
