Treated like royal visitors in this pala

In this small hotel everyone knew our names when we arrived! We walked along the ocean front and through the surrounding parklands, experiencing a calm and peace that is not usual for Alexandria or Cairo. We always stayed at 4-5 star hotels on this trip, but this one topped the bunch for elegance and gentile treatment! And now we know lots about King Frarouk, whose place this was....

Take the "regular" taxi to the train station and buy your own tickets there. Language not a problem.
