I was satisified in general, though

I was satisified in general, though I didn't try so many services the hotel provides except for the accommodation. However, I didn't feel I was properly being taken care of in the daily breakfast. I felt the staff was too busy to look after me.

This is a hotel to consider if

This is a hotel to consider if you just need to relax from the hustle bustle that is Egypt. Very close to the pyramids so it is quite a while from the city centre. The location is really quiet and relaxing. Service is nothing impressive and b'fast buffet was the same for all of the three days we stayed there. I don't think they provide large double beds in any of the standard rooms so don't be surprised if you get 2 king single beds.

Oasis Hotel

This hotel was not a four star hotel. It was run down and unkempt looking. In our room the blanket, bedspread and carpet smelled musty and damp and the lamps and table were covered in dust. The staff either could not understand English or were lazy or would not follow up on simple requests. Eg. When four of us were escorted to a table together we had to ask them several times on different occassions to set the table for four people but often we had to go looking for silver ware and napkins and set it ourselves. We did complain to the manager and he would do it himself but it would happen again and again. On the last day of our stay there was a rain storm. The hotel ceiling leaked badly and the bathrooms and reception area were flooded. The toilets were closed off to the guests and we all huddled in one area in reception and waited to leave the hotel. On the positive side, the hotel has lovely gardens and is near the Pyramids. In my opinion, this hotel should be downgraded to a two star hotel and the staff should be trained to cater to tourists. We did not have a good experience with this hotel.

You need to arrange all your trips

You need to arrange all your trips around Cairo like pyramids etc before you arrive. You cannot trust the staff in the hotel, as they will try their best to rip you off. Other than that, nice gardens, quiet place, nice pool.

We had a fantastic stay ay Oasis.

We had a fantastic stay ay Oasis. The rooms and service cannot be faulted. It is on the main road and very close to the pyramids but quite a long way from the centre of Cairo, although they did have a minibus to take you in which was very convenient. Definitely one to recommend

The hotel was very nice....More

The hotel was very nice....More like a resort than a regular hotel. The staff was friendly and the room was exceedingly comfortable. The breakfasts were amazing and the food served by the restaurants was also very good. All in all we had a wonderful experience there. The only downside was that the hotel was quite far from the airport. Traffic in Cairo is busy late at night and it took us 2 hrs to get to the hotel starting out at 10pm. On the plus side, however, the hotel was located very close to the pyramids and it was kind of nice to be away from the craziness of the city.

Beautiful surroundings with lots

Beautiful surroundings with lots of greenery. Individual villas feel luxurious. Location is out of the small town centre, a bit of a distance away from shops, will need a 3 mile walk or more. But close to the Great Pyramid by cab and the staff is helpful and speak English.

Très bon hotel, un peu excentré

Très bon hotel, un peu excentré ce qui à l'avantage d'être loin de l'agitation du Caire. A recommander pour les séjours en famille avec enfants.
