Sol Y Mar Ivory Suites is a compact and family-friendly boutique three-star hotel situated just 1 km away from Hurghada International Airport and within easy walking distance of the city centre of Hurghada. Its relaxed and very human scale with just 48 pleasantly furnished studios and apartments all enjoying a balcony or a terrace and equipped with the standard amenities. A main restaurant featuring international cuisine serves breakfast, lunch and dinner. Guests have exclusive access to the hotel swimming pool and kids pool. Guests can also use the facilities and amenities of the nearby five-star Iberotel Aquamarine resort, located in the heart of the city only 10 km away from Sol Y Mar Ivory Suites. Ideal for families or couples, you can wander round Hurghada city with its bustling shopping and nightlife or explore the magnificent coral reefs and fabulous marine life that the area is renowned for by visiting one of the many Diving Centres. Preiswertes Hotel, freundliches Personal

Das Hotel liegt nicht direkt am Meer, man kriegt aber am Empfang einen Vaucher von einem deren Hotel (Old Vic) um dort das Meer geniessen zu könen (Eintrittspreis 15, statt 30 ägyptische Pfund, also ca. 2,50 CHF). Taxis gibt es enorm viele, der normale Preis vom Hotel bis Old Vic ist 5 ägyptische Pfund, also weniger als 80 Rp. pro Fahrt, lohnt sich zu nehmen, das dieser Strand ca. 1,5 km vom Hotel entfernt ist. Zuerst habe ich bei diesem Hotel ein Zimmer auf der Strassenseite bekommen, dies war zu lärmig. Ab dem zweiten Tag konnte ich dann in ein anderes, ruhiges Zimmer wechseln. Sehr freundliches Personal. Bei Tauchgängen waren Delphine und Wasserschildkröten das Highlight.

L'unica cosa che ha lasciato scontenti

L'unica cosa che ha lasciato scontenti me, i miei due figli ed il mio amico (ho prenotato tre camere), è che non venivano cambiate le lenzuola. Dopo sei giorni abbiamo dovuto chiederlo.
