Luxor today is a city of 150,000 people and boasts many facilities and amenities for visitors looking for luxury holidays to Egypt as well as an insight into past glories. Iberotel Luxor provides a convenient and comfortable base to explore the ancient and awesome ruins. If you tire of all this history there is an 18-hole championship golf course not too far away!
Facilities
Hotel facilities include exquisite restaurants and bars, a heated pool, laundry and dry cleaning services and gift shops. Internet services, room service and 24 hour reception facilities are provided for your convenience as well as an ATM cash machine. For meetings or large parties, the hotel can accommodate up to 80 people in a fully equipped conference room complete with audio visual systems, screens and flipcharts.

Don't spend your money in the Tourist area. Tout for customers in the tourist area, it it increadibly expensive.

My stay at Iberotel Luxor in Dec. 2010
The hotel was nice. We had a very nice Christmas eve dinner party. The food and entertainment were nice. The hotel has a swimming pool overlooking Nile river.

Luxor temple was at the working distance. The boat sailing was nice at Nile river.

Staff refused to give change then
Staff refused to give change then miraculously discovered some for another (male) guest. Extortionate price for late check out, house keeping staff don't understand the meaning of 'do not disturb' sign. Pool was best feature of hotel. Expect to be hasseled as soon as you step out of the hotel and even on your balcony if you have a street view.

Excellent location and great place to stay.
Very satisfied with this hotel. They also offer Italian and Chinese restraunts on site.
