In the website, it says airport shuttle is available, but when we got there, they said there is no such service and the only option available to us is to take the hotel taxi for a charge of 66 Egypt pounds, which is very expensive!.........the wire internet in the room does not connect and the wireless internet in the lobby keeps breaking up with me.........the reception staff are not very helpful, when i asked for things, either the forget about them or they get them to me late! there is one particular member of the reception who was very mean

Very large room with large patio. Beach and red sea were amazing. Great restaurants across the street in SOHO square

Very friendly and helpfull staff, lovely gardens kept very clean and well maintained, nice beach area, very good restaurants (7-8) on site at a reasonable western european prices. Easy to reach from airport, 10 minutes, about 70 egyptian pounds taxi ride. I highly recommand this hotel and would not hesitate to go back to the Savoy.

first when arrived they didnt have the reservation in the system and they had no idea what orbitz.com is. I told them that i can just make a new reservations and they told me they dont have rooms even though later i found out that the place was more than 50% empty. After waiting 6 hours in the loby, they agreed to give me a room. They shut down lights and air condition in the loby after midnight to save money which is very strange for a 5 star hotel. Everything that i asked for the front counter they either did it but gave hard time or they just gave some stupid reason. couple times when i was in the lobby i saw other guests arguing in the front counter which shows that there is always problems in this hotel. The location is realy far from the main places so you can find much better ones in my openion.

Tout est vraiment de très bon niveau. Je conseille la formule avec le petit déjeuner qui est vraiment très bien avec une equipe souriante et professionnelle. Pour les dejeuners et dinners, il y a beaucoup de possibilités autres sur le site même ou en ville.

I just returned for it couple of hours ago. The experience was completely ruined by really bad customer service and having to fight repeatedly over every little thing with the staff, so much for going there to relax. Imagine, the hotel coupld not get me a pillow! We did not have enought pillows for the beds in the room (I mean not even one pillow per bed) and I tried talking to about 5 people about this and the answer was: "We're completely booked, we don't have any pillows to give you!" I talked to Natalie from Guest relations, and she did not help a bit, she did absolutly nothing, not even follow up with me. I paid good money to stay at a so called 5 star hotel and ended up sleeping without a pillow to give my daughter one! Advantages: The food is of good quality, especialy the lebanese chef Disadvantages: -Isolated location with subpar shuttle service that is impossible to find a spot on. The bus left Nemma Bay before time one time and left us behind, when I called the hotel to complain, the receptionist said rudely, "it's your problem, what doyou epxect to do ?" -Alot of walking to get to the sea - Lots of stairs -No beach! -Staff is not trained or capable to deal with peak seasons such as Eid., they just completely dropped the ball, it was one fight after the other.... -Animation team did not do much for kids For the money, there are definitely better alternatives... I am disappointed at the management dropping the ball as I have stayed there is the past and went back to enjoy it again, but management completely dropped the ball.....Will not go back!

First I would like to say that the hotel itself is very nice, the pool was awesome and the rooms were clean and only about a 10 minute drive to Naama Bay. My complaint is no matter how nice a hotel is, what is a hotel without good customer service which was not provided during this short stay. On arrival to the hotel, the reception staff was unable to locate our reservation. After waiting over an hour with no updates, we finally are told the reason as to why they cannot book us in which is they cannot find our reservation. The hotel manager at the time who was nice enough to let us know there were rooms available as long as we were willing to pay a higher second fee for the rooms. Since we had already paid for the rooms we did not see this as a solution. We were offered the choice of making a long distance call to the website which we had made our reservation for a very high fee which was our last resort. After waiting in the lobby for another 2 hours while we waited for a fax and phonecall and no updates, our concerned manager was busy having coffee and not concerned about his irate guests in the lobby area. Once the information was received we were able to get our rooms. By this time we were exhausted and just ready for bed, the manager gave us a free dinner of which the food was very bland tasting. He also gave us an all inclusive bracelet which was not needed since the only thing we needed was access to our rooms sooner. Our package consisted of bed and breakfast and that was all that was used since we were gone from the hotel most of the day for excursions we had booked. On departure from the hotel, once again we were held up with no information because the manager said that they had not received payment which had nothing to do with us. We told him that we had to leave due to we had to catch a flight. I was not pleased at all with the way that we were treated in this situation and as we stood at the desk on check out two more guests came to the desk to complain..never mind we are still waiting for the iron we requested that never came. Once again the hotel was very clean and if you dont care anything about customer service this would be the place to be. Thanks to the assitance of the great staff, this would be a hotel that I would not recommend to family or friends and would never return to again.

[...] The room looked nice, but my bed had make up stains on the duvet, above the mini bar fridge, the glass shelves had not been dusted. The bathroom was missing glasses. The room safe would not work at all. The hotel does not even have a iron and ironing board. The food in the restaurant doesn't have any flavour. The beds were comfy though. I do not recommend this hotel, pay for a higher price and get better service. If you are used to bad service and sheets with makeup stains, then go with this hotel.

The hotel is located in a very good place for relaxing. But there were some weaknesses in the services. For example, you need to reserve your transportation to any place 24 hrs before; this doesn't go well with plans. There were no hairdryer in the room. No shower cabs. Balcony door wasn't really isolating external noise but wasn't that bad. In general food is not tasty and plates, forks, spoons, knives and glasses are not that clean and shiny. I would recommend that hotel comparing with many other hotels.

Clean, self contained, friendly staff and great value for money

Myself and my boyfirend stayed here for 2 weeks in september and it was the best hols we have had so far. The staff are so nice and go out of their way for you. We both got sick while we were there but the hotel staff were very helpful and told us what to take for the stomach bug and it cleared up within a few days. Soho square which is behind the hotel is great and has lovely restaurants.We did the quads at both sun rise and sun set it was amazing. We will defo be back here some time soon enough i hope :)

Das Hotel Sierra ist perfekt für einen ruhigen Aufenthalt. Alle Aktivitäten sind ausserhalb des Hotels zu finden. Der Srand ist nicht sehr gross aber die Fische und das Riff sind die letzten 5 Jahre wirklich schön geblieben

Beautiful resort. Mostly russian and italian guests. We were the first Americans in the taxi we took, and the second Americans for many of the staff. English spoken well. Evening entertainment only 50/50, and most in Italian or Russian, with little English mixed in.Could have been a resort anywhere, not a real feel of Being in Egypt, except the Red Sea. We just returned from a Nile Cruise and 1 night in Cairo, that was Egypt. This was a nice complement to end our trip with a relaxing few days after lots of sightseeing.Rooms have great view of the Red Sea, very comfortable, only drawback was dirty floors. Good choice of restaurants, with 30% off for hotel guests, made it reasonable to inexpensive for meals. Breakfast was included, and a nice buffet.Reception could have done better. We tried to book excursions off the property at the resort, and too late found out if you carry a US passport, they need at least 24 hrs to set up security to accompany you. Other nationalities did not require this. Reception never warned us, even though I called once or twice daily to set things up,for 4 days. Our loss that we had 2 days of cancelled tours due to rain- In the desert, go figure. Highly unusual for this area. The Red Sea beaches were also closed for swimming due to recent shark attacks. We did get to swim in the floating pool in the Red Sea, enclosed. Also a salt water lake, with fish. Snorkeling did go out to the shores of saudi arabia, at Tanir Island, great coral and fish.Leaving at 5:30am for plane home, hotel did not have breakfast box for us. Every other place we were on the 2 week trip in Egypt, only 4 nights here, did have this. I requested boxes, but even though we arranged a taxi with reception over 24hrs ahead, when I asked about breakfast, they said they needed 24 hrs notice, and it was the night before we left when I asked. How hard would it have been to get some fruit, bread, juice in a box..Have to get used to the security checkpoints, lots of guards with big guns, ID checks, ect. But did feel very safe the entire trip, and believed the security was there for our comfort and safety.Cold at night, could have used another sweatshirt!Egyptian people were extremely friendly[*].Amazing sites, really glad we went.

We arrived late to the hotel because of a delayed flight. [...] We were finally able to go asleep around 2:30am, only to be woken up by the maid knocking on our door at 8:30am. The breakfast was a big cafeteria style and when we showed up a half hour before it finished, most of the food was already gone without being refilled. As we weren't able to go to our room until 1:30am, we asked for a 1pm late check-out and were told that we would have to pay another 5 euros. Overall, the pool looked nice (though we were unable to make any use of it) and the rooms were pretty nice- three star facilities with one star service.
