We stayed for three days, coming in from our vacation in Cairo. We had seen all the great places in Cairo and heard about the diving in the Red Sea. The place was a great get away from Cairo....great pools, rooms were incredible and so was the service. I would skip the pools and take the schuttle that runs to the Red Sea ( please note the ocean isn't far away from the place the resort is just huge and sits on the ocean and the schuttles run every 15 minutes) The ocean is just great to swim in and so clear you can see colorful fish swimming around you.. The Dive Club a part of the hotel was great also..The place is a great find!! The only down side for us was the food, if you enjoy the cruise type buffet, this is your place, you will feel like you never left home. You can probably slip into town for some more delicious and exotic food...

We had a truly unforgettable experience, starting with the arrangements Shady made for airport pickup at after long flight. We got first class treatment from Ossama & Shady during checkin, as we upgraded to all inclusive and in relocating our son. We ended up with rooms 1117 & 1118, very clean, well appointed, great location and great views. The staff were warm, very polite and made every effort to assist. Junior Sous chef Mohamed Gomaa got the prize for going the extra mile (GEM)- when my wife complained about not seeing cheese cake, in ten minutes he came back with 2 nicely garnished plates with cheese cake. We are ready to go back

Very nice hotel outside, great watterfalls, pools, etc. The rooms are very big, spacious, but a little bit old - not too much, but for a 5 star hotel should be renovated soon.
Minus is also the beach. You have great opportunity for snorkelling, but almost no chance to swim.
Otherwise nice hotel, good ( not perfect) food, very nice loby, not to expensive.

first when arrived they didnt have the reservation in the system and they had no idea what orbitz.com is. I told them that i can just make a new reservations and they told me they dont have rooms even though later i found out that the place was more than 50% empty. After waiting 6 hours in the loby, they agreed to give me a room. They shut down lights and air condition in the loby after midnight to save money which is very strange for a 5 star hotel. Everything that i asked for the front counter they either did it but gave hard time or they just gave some stupid reason. couple times when i was in the lobby i saw other guests arguing in the front counter which shows that there is always problems in this hotel. The location is realy far from the main places so you can find much better ones in my openion.

Ich kann nur sagen WOW! Wir haben als junges Paar eine Woche dort verbracht und wollten gar nicht mehr nach Hause.Das Hotel und unser Zimmer war einfach wunderschön. Der Service war ausgezeichnet (kein aufdringliches Personal und immer sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit) der Strand hatte viel Platz und war sehr sauber (immer mit frischen Badetücher). Auch das Wellness-Angebot war wunderbar und vielseitig. Einfach ideal zum entspannen und geniessen. Sehr zu empfehlen ist das Hauseigene italienische Restaurant. Wir haben nur mit Frühstück gebucht ( Seehr vielfältiges Buffet Angebot) was eine sehr gute Entscheidung war, so konnten wir Abends auch mal ausserhalb essen gehen, in dem zu Fuss etwa 10 Minuten entfernten Il Mercato. Wir würden sofort wieder gehen weil es einfach Perfekt war.

My hotel experience was fair. The hotel staff was just adamant when they needed to enter the room for either room service or to provide water, therefore, they would aggressively open the door after one knock.

In the website, it says airport shuttle is available, but when we got there, they said there is no such service and the only option available to us is to take the hotel taxi for a charge of 66 Egypt pounds, which is very expensive!.........the wire internet in the room does not connect and the wireless internet in the lobby keeps breaking up with me.........the reception staff are not very helpful, when i asked for things, either the forget about them or they get them to me late! there is one particular member of the reception who was very mean

My husband and I were very pleased with everything this hotel had to offer. No detail was overlooked, from the landscaping to the room itself. For the area, I was amazed to get a room with two double beds and a bathtub. The pool was massive and well kept. Beautiful courtyard. I would definitely return.

Disappointing Customer Service

I just returned for it couple of hours ago.
The experience was completely ruined by really bad customer service and having to fight repeatedly over every little thing with the staff, so much for going there to relax.
Imagine, the hotel coupld not get me a pillow! We did not have enought pillows for the beds in the room (I mean not even one pillow per bed) and I tried talking to about 5 people about this and the answer was: "We're completely booked, we don't have any pillows to give you!" I talked to Natalie from Guest relations, and she did not help a bit, she did absolutly nothing, not even follow up with me. I paid good money to stay at a so called 5 star hotel and ended up sleeping without a pillow to give my daughter one!
Advantages: The food is of good quality, especialy the lebanese chef
Disadvantages:
-Isolated location with subpar shuttle service that is impossible to find a spot on. The bus left Nemma Bay before time one time and left us behind, when I called the hotel to complain, the receptionist said rudely, "it's your problem, what doyou epxect to do ?"
-Alot of walking to get to the sea - Lots of stairs
-No beach!
-Staff is not trained or capable to deal with peak seasons such as Eid., they just completely dropped the ball, it was one fight after the other....
-Animation team did not do much for kids
For the money, there are definitely better alternatives...
I am disappointed at the management dropping the ball as I have stayed there is the past and went back to enjoy it again, but management completely dropped the ball.....Will not go back!

The most fabulous romantic holiday ever

Absolutely brilliant, enjoyed the location and my room was only a minute walk from the beach. Excellent facilities but the gym was not to the standard of the hotel. Also I loved the restaurants in the hotel.
My most favorite part of the hotel was the infinity pool and their amazing moijito's , never had better any where else in the world.
Great place to take your special someone, I know my special someone won't forget that incredible week we spend in the hilton.

we are group of three persons and booked[...] a room for three persons but during check out the receptionist asked us to pay extra money for the third preson as he said,although it was mentioned clearly in our booking that number of guest = 3 they held us in the posterior room for almost 1 hour trying to find any word or sentence in our booking contract to let us pay this extra fees. thanks God our flight was at evening not shorlty after the check out time otherwise we might missed it. they treat thier guests as cash machine. I recommend this hotel but be careful

We stayed at the Hyatt for one week. Our room was a bit outdated. There were stains on the chairs and the bathroom needs to be renovated. The shower pressure wasn't good. The sink and bathtub looked old and grimey. The plus side of staying here are the pools and the reef. The hotel is laid out very nicely. The view is just beautiful! We enjoyed the Lazy River pool and the slide. However, there were many children at the pool who were not supervised. They were mostly Russians and Brits. Some of the children were jumping into the shallow pool from the bridge. Quite dangerous considering people were swimming under the bridge and these children were not looking when they jumped. There needs to be rules at the pool before someone sustains injuries. The buffet breakfast was good. There were plenty of choices and fresh fruit daily. We would stay here again. Overall, we enjoyed outselves very much.

One word - FANTASTIC

My wife and I have just returned from 12 nights at the Sofitel in Naama Bay which we booked direct. We have stayed with Sofitel previously, the last time being in Thailand and are well aware of their high standards. The Naama Bay Sofitel did not disappoint!
From the moment we were collected by their courtesy car from the airport, we could not have been better taken care of. A welcome drink on arrival, swift check in, bags delivered to our room, which had a wonderful view over Naama Bay, the gardens and the beach.
The guy on reception, when photocopying our passports, noticed it was my wife’s birthday the following day and wished her a Happy Birthday and, the next afternoon a cake and Happy Birthday letter were delivered to our room, compliments of the Manager – what service!
The hotel and grounds are spotless, gardeners and cleaners work constantly and the buffet at breakfast is superb. We also opted for two of their themed buffet evenings, which did not disappoint at all – the chef was on hand and took delight in explaining the dishes on offer. We also visited the in house Indian restaurant The Rangoli (twice!) and we both agreed that the food was the best Indian we had ever tasted. The view from the Rangoli’s terrace across Naama Bay at night was amazing.
The staff were all incredibly friendly, my wife had several massages in the Health Club of the hotel and was very impressed. The beaches, all of which are for the hotel guests only, are well furnished with lots of sunbeds and parasols as is the pool area and, like the rest of the hotel, is spotlessly clean.
The service we received was second to none and what we have come to expect from the Sofitel group – a quick mention to the waiters and staff such as Usama and Hany (breakfast), Mustafa & Maria (Health Club), Abd (Pool Bar) Mahmood (beach bar), Mohamed (our cleaner) – thanks for making our stay such a great one! The Sofitel is a real jewel of Naama Bay!

I will definitely go back to the same hotel. My room had a balcony sea view like all the other rooms and it felt great to wake up in the morning & go to sleep in such an ambience. The room was very comfortable & the service was impeccable. I only wished the wood in the room was painted white or some gay colors. The food was very good, I had the best fresh seabass. The staff very amiable & efficient. The evening shows were very professional, especially the Oriental night. Visited the other 5 star hotels but will definitely go back to stay @ Sofitel. My first time there and it was worth it. I needed to relax & rest by the beach. The mall nearby was easily accessible & so was the Casino at the bottom of the street for whoever wants a few hours of fun.

Nice hotel, not so good customer service

During my stay I took the scuba diving certification course which was an amazing experience. The overall stay was nice but the associates at the reception kept mixing my bill with someone else's and I had to dispute charges made to my room.

The hotel was in a great location about 5 minute walk to Naama Bay. There was no beach at this location, but you could walk across the street to Hilton Fayrouz beach and use their facilities. The road crossing the street is very busy. This location did have great swimming pools. The beach was not so great alot of rocks and corals. You could walk along the beach shore from hotel to hotel to get a better picture of Naama Bay. Some of the hotels beach were no more then 14-15ft in width then the beach chairs would back up to the hotel and this is what that would call access to the beach. Some of the hotel would state beach access and the hotel was across the street. Also you want to get close to Naama Bay because the taxi service is a big ripe off. So if you could just walk you are better off then the taxi drivers taking advantage of you. As far as the hotel it is going through renovation phrase, but very well kept up. Also, we stayed 2 extra nights and we had to pay for internet access to book our room at the same rate as before. They have very little customer service at the front desk, which they were giving us alot higher rate. Otherwise, the snorkeling and shopping was fun. This is a great place for a week vacation or short get away.

The owners can do so much better. The location is good if you want to be in the middle of walking distance for evrything. The childrenfacilities chould been better and bigger, and sandy beach is not recomended if you dont like clubbing. The tecnomusic was so lopud all the time that you couldent hear the person next to you in a coversasdtion. the food hasent changed during the last five years so if you are smart dont bother with breakfast and all incl. Visit Picasso cafe that serves everything incl full english breakfast, If you do go here, I recomend the suite, its a big two room apartmenet and you can prepare your own food if you want. Verynice travelling with children. Its not Hilton, but if you know the area and know the hotel you want get disapointed.!

We had a disappointing experience. You may get a good price, but don't be deceived by the nice pictures. The rooms are old, the bed sheets are warn, most of the pools are not heated, the breakfast is lackluster, the hot water in the showers don't really work etc...
It was an incredible hassle staying at this hotel. We got a good price, but we didn't have a good experience.
On the plus side, the some of the staff and people working at the hotel are very nice. I just wish the hotel was better managed and had more focus on creating a great customer experience.

My husband and I have been coming to Sharm El Sheik since 1980 when it first opened up re: Camp David Treaty. We have stayed in many Sharm hotels in the past - the first stay was on an empty beach in what is downtown Naama Bay! We stayed at the first hotel in Naama, and many more since then. The Radisson Blu is a good 20 - 30 minutes from Naama Bay. We were very happy with the out of the way location, those seeking nite life may need to be nearer to Naama Bay. We were happy to be at the hotel.
The pool was large and wonderful and there are other smaller pools for those who prefer that type. The pool was clean. They have an animation team to keep you active and also a kid's club to keep your kids active - though my boys are adults now. The beach accomodations were fine too.
Our room was kept spotlessly clean by Omar and his cheery face each day. Our beds had some kind of artisitic arrangement or bedspread art/creature on them adding a whimiscal note. We had a great family vacation with my sons and one son's girlfriend. They took advantage of the diving every day while I enjoyed the pool.
The only drawback was the mediocre yet expensive food. It is not quite up to the impeccable SAS food service that I experience at Radisson SAS in Kuwait where I now live. Our breakfasts were included;other meals were purchased during the rest of the day. We did have a good meal at the Grotto one evening. There seems to be too many venues for restaurants and not enough people dining in any of them? The seafood Trade Winds dishes were somewhat hit/miss as far as quality. The staff tries very hard and is very friendly, they need to be given the tools to do their work. On another note, if you do not like large resorts with oodles of people, this is not your place. We did not mind, we made our own fun.

Unbeatable location for the price

Myself and my boyfirend stayed here for 2 weeks in september and it was the best hols we have had so far. The staff are so nice and go out of their way for you. We both got sick while we were there but the hotel staff were very helpful and told us what to take for the stomach bug and it cleared up within a few days. Soho square which is behind the hotel is great and has lovely restaurants.We did the quads at both sun rise and sun set it was amazing. We will defo be back here some time soon enough i hope :)

Das Hotel Sierra ist perfekt für einen ruhigen Aufenthalt. Alle Aktivitäten sind ausserhalb des Hotels zu finden. Der Srand ist nicht sehr gross aber die Fische und das Riff sind die letzten 5 Jahre wirklich schön geblieben

When you book this hotel in the future, be sure to explain that it is apart of the Domina Coral Bay resorts. Our cab driver from the airport did not know where to go, and took us to the Tropicana Oasis Hotel...

The hotel was perfectly nice but there were very few people there who were under 65 years of age ... several with wheel chairs. So the beach/pool/bar scene wasn't exactly as hip or youthful as I'd hoped!

Je vais à Sharm depuis plusieurs années. En 12 ans j'ai donc eu le temps de tester un certain nombre d'hotel. A mon sens l'Iberotel Palace est un excellent compromis (5 séjours dans cet hotel). Hotel situé dasn Old Sharm el Sheik à 5 km de Naama bay -donc loin du bruit des avions et de cette cité béton et à 5 min si l'envie est là d'aller se fondre à la masse.
Sur place 4 restaurants, piscine, mini club et tous les services d'un 5 étoiles. Le personnel est accueillant et à l'écoute des besoin de la clientèle. Le point négatif aux yeux de certains est qu'ils ne parlent pas un mot de français.
Pour la plongée, je leur préfère le club situé à Iberotel Fanara (Diving & Discovery) car ce club offre un niveau de sécurité bien au dessus de la norme pour le meme prix que certaines usines à plongeurs. Sur simple demande, ils viennent vous chercher quotidiennement et gratuitement à l'hotel. Comme cet hotel est sur le chemin du port.. c'est pratique.
