Nice building, bad service
I chose this hotel because of its rating on several web sites. The hotel itself is amazing, very big, clean. What I did not like is service. Receptionists are inattentive, not smiling, behave like I am their friend or a girlfriend. At first night I saw ANTS in my room. They appeared at night when I was about to sleep. Huge ants everywhere!!! That never happened to me before. After my complaint a person used special chemicals that helped but smelled too strong. I had to wait 2 hours to get rid of it. I expected that they would send me some complimentary amenities but they did not do anything. Another unacceptable point was a bath robe. It was dirty. And they put it as a clean one. It had spots on it and armpits smelled with somebody. The food is extremely bad quality. Breakfast is very poor. All days I had to it only omelet. I also tried salmon salad and pizza. The worst salad in my life. Fortunately I did not get food poisoning. Staff is very annoying. When you take sun bathing they will come and bother you every 5 minutes offering either some drinks (you have to pay for them) or excursions. What I liked was the shuttle bus, view from my room, the building itself, sea, the best beach beds I have ever tried. Generally, I would not recommend it. For the same value you can go to Phuket and have really 5* service. From now on I will choose hotels belonging only to big famous brands with high quality and standards.
