Was just an overnight on the way down to Sinai, but everything was clean and well kept. Front desk and travel arrangement folks were very helpful when I had ATM trouble.

Staff at the hotel are marvelous. The location is hard to get to which is exactly why I like this hotel. The buffet restaurant is a little disappointing. Food is consistently bland though nicely presented. Drink service is slow. Server did not show up until I was nearly finished with my plate. On my next trip I will try the a la carte restaurants instead: Casa Taba and Marhaba.

the food is not so good! and the all inclusive package at this hotel is not worth the price ,, All included at the hotel only offered three meals, drinks and ice cream, instead of all inclusive can purchase three meals at a very reduced rate and then buy anything you feel like it does not reach the all-inclusive price.

A very nice hotel

We were only there overnight. My only complaint is that we were supposed to be leaving at 6AM and were told to put our luggage out by 5:15AM. Our departure was delayed until 6:30 because no one came for our luggage until 6:15. We were a group of 11 travelers.

Not in Downtown Taba; 20 day notice for cancellation : (

The location of this hotel is misrepresented. It is not in the center of Taba. It is actually 40-45 Km south of the center of Taba. This makes a big difference in planning.
One also needs a 20 day advanced notice for cancellation. If you pre-pay over two weeks in advance and decide to cancel within five minutes, you are still charged the whole fee. Most other hotels require a 24 hour notice.
I reserved the room on Orbitz and immediately called to verify location. I cancelled the reservation after I found out that the hotel was so far away. I cancelled with 24 hours notice. I called customer service at Orbitz and had them contact the hotel. The hotel billed me even though I didn't stay. Not good business practices. This hotel shouldn't be on Orbitz.

I wanted a place to crash after a hectic two weeks of touring the Sinai and the Holy Land. I was on a strict budget but still wanted some place nice. Sea Star pampered me without killing my wallet. I thought at first the price was a misprint...or that it had to be a scam. Not true on both counts.
