Tallinn
The location is excellent and the staff is friendly and helpful. It was probably the best included breakfast I've ever had (great custom-ordered food as well as the buffet). Turn-down service water and chocolate was also a nice touch. However, there was no AC and the building is quite old so the floors are extremely creaky and you can hear the TV in adjoining rooms. Our biggest complaint by far is the fact that the toilet was wedged in behind the sink. I have no idea if this was just our room or all of them but it is ridiculous and unacceptable. You have to actually manuevre yourself in to sit down and then you have a sink right under your chin.

A very good hotel
An extremely pleasant experience staying here. Friendly and helpful staff. Perfect location, right in the heart of the town but quiet at night. We had a lovely room, spacious, extremely clean with everything we could need. Breakfast was good with lots of choice in a pleasant dining room. Plenty of excellent restaurants, beer halls, and places to visit on the door step. People in Tallinn very friendly and the visit was a pleasure from start to finish. Also came home with Baltic Amber rings for our daughters! We flew to Riga and caught a Lux Coach to Tallinn which took about 4 - 5 hours, then back to finish off our holiday in Riga.

Perfect location and excellent service
The hotel is located within the perimeter of the old city and is perfect for sightseeing. I reserved a deluxe double room, which was very large and extremely comfortable. The staff are all very professional and could not be more helpful.

a fine hotel
A very comfortable and well run hotel. The staff is helpful and friendly, the rooms are large and well-equipped, the breakfast buffets the best I have ever had, and it represents an excellent value for the money. It is among the best hotels I have ever stayed at. I didn't rate it a five only because I do not know how the rich folks live.

Charming Hotel
I visited Tallinn for one day as a side-tour from a business trip to Finland. This hotel is wonderful. It's located right in the center of Tallinn, great for getting anywhere in the old city. The hotel and hotel room are small but elegant. They include a large number of nice touches, like a chocolate bar with the turn-down service, bathrobes and slippers for the room, and fresh apples in the lobby. The breakfast was excellent and the staff were exceedingly courteous. One weakness - I couldn't get free TV to work, but this was easily compensated by the free internet.

Short walk from hotel
I had dinner at Olde Haus restaurant. Definitely for the tourists, but totally worth it. The restaurant felt like it was back in the 1500's (candles, lute & recorder music, etc), with food mixing old and new.
