One of few good hotels in Addis Ababa
Probably the best hotel in Addis, although a little over-priced and standard of food in restaurant could be improved. My experienced spoilt by having to spend three hours sorting out payment. Although my account was deducted from my arrival, hotel claimed non-receipt. Whether fault lay with trevel agency, hotel or hotel's bank I do not know, I could have done without the inconvenience

Beautiful Hotel
I stayed 5 days at the Sheraton in Addis, and my stay was great. Every staff member will go out of the way to make your stay the best. Great amenities, very nice rooms, and the spa was excellent. I have traveled all over the world and the is the nicest hotel I have ever seen.

luxery in africa
beautiful setting with a fabulous pool. several excellent restaurants for those times where you just want to hang around the hotel. extremely helpful, friendly staff. when we realized that we were suppose to leave that very evening instead of the next day, the hotel was gracious about extending our room time so we could pack; we certainly didn't need added pressure or expense(for over extending the actual check-out time) at a time like that! need to take cabs to get where ever you need to go. the hotel was very helpful in providing us with a driver who we really enjoyed. we requested him by name for a second day and it worked out very well.

In Hotel
if you want to stick close to home, there are several good quality restaurants in the hotel. expense-wise, you'll do better eating in local restaurants around town; also, that's the way to absorb more of the local culture.
