Great location convenient to downtown right on a tram stop. Best value in Helsinki on a reasonable budget. Keep in mind this is Not serviced during your stay (no fresh towels or cleanup) and check-in can be tricky without a cel phone to call in (there are no staff on site). Besides that it's great with separate living room and kitchen from the bedroom. Will use Hellstan again if returning to Helsinki.

My wife and I were in Helsinki for about 5 days and we loved this place. The kitchen made this place fantastic. We were able to cook meals instead of going out all of the time. I was gone for 6 weeks so it was nice to eat in every once and a while. Free washing machine and dryer and free use of the sauna. The only complaint (if you can call it that) was that there wasn't any breakfast but with the kitchen, it didn't matter. We will definitely stay here again if we return to Helsinki.

Room was fairly basic but a good size and clean. Location was quite good, an easy 10 minute walk or short tram ride to the main downtown area. Full kitchenette and grocery store two blocks away. Bathroom was good with a decent shower. In quiet area. Price was excellent for pricey Helsinki. Reception is self-service with a code to get your key and a phone number for any concerns, so a bit self service. Overall, good value for your money in Finland.

Helsinki was a bit of a surprise, lovely city, quite compact which made getting to various areas easy, waterfront very attractive, tour through parliament was great. Hydrofoil trip to Tallin was quite rough which was not expected.

Great location in a convenient, picturesque, quiet neighborhood minutes from downtown Helsinki. Adjacent to convenient trams giving access to the entire city. Walking distance from the Viking Cruise ship terminal. There is a small market open until 9pm around the corner for groceries. It was a little unusual for us to have no direct personal contact at checkin/checkout, but following the instructions worked like a charm. The apartment met our needs. The laundry was a big help--we used it during both of our stays. Some minor repairs on the kitchen countertop and some lubricant on the noisy gate would be an improvement, but we would definitely stay here again if we return to the city. Overall a great value which enhanced our enjoyment of Helsinki.

Nice location. Good value for the price. Only 'problem', this is not really a hotel but apartment, when you arrive you have to call a number and they will give you instructions (code for the door) how to get in.

as there's no reception at the actual location of the hotel, it's a bit difficult to make requests etc. it's fully automated, although the automation is smart, but apart from getting the keys, handing back the keys, booking the sauna, you can't too much.

お部屋に関して、リビング・ベッドルームがとても広く快適でした。トイレが２か所あったのも良いです。　 サウナはA棟の１階にあり、利用したい時間帯に部屋番号を記入しておくと貸切で無料で利用できました。洗濯機はB棟地下で、サウナと同じシステム。洗剤はないので自分で持っていくと良いと思います。　 歩いて１分にあるトラムはとても便利な路線です。港のマーケットまでは10分かからず行けるのでとても便利で毎朝通っていました。 スーパーマーケットもすぐ近くに有り便利でした。 とてもとても良い滞在ができました！ これはhotelclubさんへのお願いです。　このホテルはフロントがなく、事前に二つの暗証番号を入手し、その暗証番号の使用方法を知らせていただかない限りはお部屋に入れません。事前に、あるサイトでそれを知りｈｏｔｅｌｃｌｕｂさんへメールで伺いましたが情報が無いとの返答でした。　 仕方なく、なれない英語で直接ホテルへメールをし丁寧な返答をいただけましたので幸いにも現地で困ることはありませんでしたが、　 滞在中、この仕組みを知らないために困っている方に声をかけられましたので、是非今一度システムを理解し責任ある対応をしていただけたらと思います。
