A short Helsinki stay
A potentially great hotel with a good restaurant, excellent young children's play area and some excellent staff. Close to railway station - 10-15 minutes walk. Lacked attention to detail in room service that I'd expect from this level of hotel - soap dispenser empty, unable to open fridge without getting a key.

good location for the price
The hotel has a friendly staff and offers queit and restfull time . The french cuisine restourant is nice too. It is proximate location to all city attractions and the harbour.

Nice Location for price, good breakfast
Helpful staff - room was small but clean and well laid out. No kettle in room but when I asked downstairs they filled a flask of boiling water for me.

Sky express pizza, Annankatu 23 - 10€ for a huge pizza and a litre of beer! You'll not find better in Helsinki

Viihtyisä ja idyllinen hotelli
Aleksanteri on yksi viihtyisimmistä ja idyllisimmistä Helsingin hotelleista hyvällä hinta-laatusihteella. Sisustuksessa otetaan hyvin huomioon rakennuksen ikä ja arvokkuus. Kesäaikaan pieni sisäpihan terassi oli myös kiva yllätys.

We were told the hotel was sold
We were told the hotel was sold out when arriving there at around midnight. We were sent to another hotel and we had to pay the taxi fare which made out cost of stay a lot higher. Not happy at all!
