Novotel Paris Est
This was one of 3 hotels I stayed in on this trip. Over all it was nice. This is a modern hotel, hundreds of rooms. The rooms are clean and big size rooms (the knid Americans expect). I stayed in the heart of Paris also. Those rooms were the typical small room, but they were still nice. Small room hotels are close to everything. Big room hotels -you'll probably need to take the metro (very easy to navigate) to get to places. This hotel was a 3 minute walk from the metro- very nice. But internet acess was expensive.

Would not recommend
Leider nie wieder
Die Lage ist nicht optimal, aber mit Taxi oder Metro ist man in 30min auch im Zentrum. Das Personal ist an jeder Stelle sehr unfreundlich und nicht gasteorintiert. Kleine Sonderwünsche, wie 1h später auschecken, werden sofort abgeblockt. Auf Reklamation wird kein bisschen eingegagen. Ohne die französische Sprache kommt man nicht besonders weit, aber auch wenn man französisch spricht, wird das Personal nicht freundlicher. Beim Duschen ist, wegen des schlechten Ablaufs auch der Wohnbereich nass. Frühstück ist typisch französisch, aber leider sucht man auch jeglichen Service. In einem 4 Stunde Kettenhotel erwarte ich, das die Teller abgeräumt werden, oder der Kaffee/Tee an den Tisch gebracht wird.
