The location of this hotel is outstanding; close to the Saone River and within walking distance to the old city and the city center. Also within a block of many local restaurants (no English on menues but great food and prices). For an old European Hotel this Hotel is in great condition, clean and great service by the staff. They definitely deserve the Best Western designation as they meet all their standards, They also had a computer and printer availabe at no charge which allowed me to print our boarding passes for our flight home. Highly recommend this Hotel for all except those seeking a big luxury type Hotel. Would definately stay at this hotel again if we get back to Lyon.

Perfect location to see Lyon
The reception staff were very welcoming and got us checked in early. They spoke very good English which really helped. We had a very enjoyable two nights here but we didn't have breakfast included as we prefer to eat out.

Long walk from hotel
Don't try walking from the station, it's too far so get a cab! We got the Rhone Express train from airport which is quick and efficient but when we arrived in Lyon we made the mistake of trying to walk to the hotel. Don't bother, we got lost and it took an hour!

Great location and friendly staff!
Pretty good experience overall. The hotel was located in a great place - right off of the bridge of the Palais du Justice. It was really close to old town and a few steps away from the Saturday and Sunday market along the riverside in Lyon.

Hôtel simple, mais agréable et bien placé
Très bon hôtel dans sa catégorie. Très bien placé à quelques minutes du Vieux Lyon ou de la Place de La République. Chambre agréable et propre.

bonne situation mais...
emplacement idéal malheureusement chambre minuscule sans aucune vue si ce n'est la chambre voisine... eau tiède le dimanche matin !

A éviter plats cuisinés "typique bouchon lyonnais" de la rue Mercière. Beurk ! arrive sur la table en 2 min.... Mais pour bcp moins cher qques bons resto avec meilleur ouvrier de France et beaujolais nouveau excellent... oui oui ça existe ! Plus loin mais le taxi vaut bien la diff autant gustativement que financierement! Merci Petitrenaud

Petit hôtel parfaitement situé sur la presque Ile et tout proche du Vieux Lyon - très calme malgré la situation - personnel très accueillant - rapport qualité prix rien a redire!
