Great location for short break
Close to train station (good for airport transfer), and 10 min walk to old town. Situated on main shopping street in Nice. Rooms small but clean. Great for one night stay, but probably too small to be comfortable for much longer visit. Staff very friendly and helpful and spoke excellent english.

Family getaway
We stayed at the hotel for three nights. The location was very convenient for the station - getting to and from the airport and going to Monaco for the day. However it was too far from the beach and old town - we found ourselves walking excessively! It is handy being near Monoprix to buy breakfast, and we used the minibar to store chilled food in. The cleaning staff were helpful and excellent at keeping the tea and coffee topped up; the room was cleaned and tidied daily so that it was always welcoming when re-entering after a busy day! The room was very quiet and the air conditioning effective and easy to control. There was not much storage space for clothes in the room - a slight issue. Our main complaint was about how unfriendly the lady on reception was when we first arrived. She did the necessary things - and spoke English which was helpful - but offered no words of welcome and was vague about check in times and generally uninterested in us. However we found the evening reception staff much better.

A week in the South of France
This hotel's location is on the main shopping street of Nice. It is a short distance from train station and about 10-15 minutes light walking to the beach front. The rooms were clean and had a few creature comforts. All in all, it was a good value for the price paid.
