Five star hotel says it all.
Five star hotel says it all. If they could guarantee the weather it would be perfect. The hotel is right on the waterfront and you can walk to the old town, restaurants and shopping. The staff are friendly, courteous and very helpful. This is an expensive hotel but you get what you pay for. I loved this hotel.

Newest Hotspot in Nice
Le Palais de la Mediteranee was indeed a palace. This is by far the newest hotel in Nice and the location is perfect as it is on the main street (Promenade des Anglais), and is a two-minute walk to the beach. (Le Palais has an agreement with a beach club called Blue Beach for 16 euros per day.) The hotel is less than four years old, so the rooms are virtually brand new, nicely appointed, have king-sized beds. The pool is both outdoors and indoors and there is a brand new gym and sauna. A short walk to Vieux Nice where the restaurants are located. (Highly recommend La Voglia for pasta and seafood for either lunch or dinner). Very nice staff and extremely helpful concierge. Also, one can walk to the bus station (which takes you directly to the Nice airport for 1.30 Euros) or the train station, which takes you along the coast to a dozen villages in the Cote d'Azur.

certaines personnes font baisser la qualité globale du service - surbooking au petit déjeuner où l'accueil est trop familier - attente à la reception :1 seule receptionniste pour tout gérer (notes, telephone, demandes) et qui finit par être agacée face aux remarques du client - attente 30 min pour une facture non prête au moment du départ et pourtant demandée la veille au restaurant A tel point que nous nous sommes demandé si la direction avait changé mais non !!!
