- The rooms are decorated mainly in dark blue colours and are traditional. All of the rooms are well-equipped, and some of them are very spacious; the windows are soundproofed. They are in good condition.

Good Location, Why was everyone complain
I found the rooms to be very clean, the beds comfortable, and the staff very helpful. Tina, who we met on arrival, was a blessing. She was able to help with the Metro and the locations to everywhere we needed to go. We stayed in room 203, across from the elevator. Despite what others have said, the "noise" did not keep us up. The breakfast price was the only downside, but we ate elsewhere.

The Eiffel Tower was 8 minute walk, and we were able to reach anything we needed within 25 minutes walk. The metro 80 bus took us to Mont marte.

We did all the things in Paris that we were told couples did there. The location of the hotel was central to all the tourist spots and transportation was available readily. The service was first rate and the staff was friendly. We were so close to the Eiffel Tower and the Left Bank that it shocked us but it made seeing the city a pleasant experience.

Short walk from hotel
One of the things we like to do is go to the movies. The hotel is a short walk from a movie theater that shows blockbusters in English, so we didn't have to read subtitles throughout the movie. Just right across the bridge and a couple of blocks walk.

Review Best Western Hotel in Paris
This hotel is in a great location and is attractive. We could see the Eifel tower from the room! However, the maids did not clean up every day, did not replenish supplies (like toilet paper, coffee, cups). We especially required air conditioning when making reservation but it did not work. Though we asked for a wake up call and they said they did it; we never received it. Staff, however, were very friendly. Breakfast was outrageously expensive (even for Paris)..so we did not do breakfast or bar there.

Best Western Derby Alma
A very nice hotel in an unbeatable location. Lots to do in the area, and eating and drinking in the very shadow of the Eiffel Tower was a Parisian treat. An initial room on the 1st floor was not in good shape, but after transferring to the floor above, we found the other rooms spacious (for Paris) and comfortable. I would definitely go back to the Derby Alma.

Go up the Avenue Rapp past the Champ De >Mars square and find a wonderful selection of restaurants and shops a few blocks further.

Great Location
Reservations and staff willingness to accept our luggage before check in time were a pleasure. Location is very convenient.
