Comfort Hotel Andre Latin

We understand rooms in Paris are small - ours was, but comfortable. It would have been nice to have the breakfast included in the room rate.

My wife and I are late-20 somethings who visited in June 2010 for 1 week. We stayed in a second floor, corner room. Andre Latin is a quiet (busy street but good windows) Comfort brand hotel located about 2 blocks from the RER Luxembourg, which meant easy access to the airports. The Metro was a little less convenient, but the RER can connect you as needed. The Latin Quarter (~10 min) and the Seine (including Notre Dame ~15-20 min) were all walkable. Other great sights, such as the Lourve can be accessed by the bus that stopped across the street from the hotel. A grocery store was within 4 blocks and several small cafes/bars on the same street if not around the corner. Overall, the location was fantastic.The room was recently renovated in the simple, modern style [...] There is a safe in the room for which you had to pay a security deposit just in case you lose the key. The room was clean, and we thought the cleaning service did a solid job (and we are very picky). A/C was central. We did not try the internet based on other online reviews that it was costly and the Wi-fi access may be weak. There is however a paid (1 Euro for 10 min) computer in the lobby for internet access, which was very helpful and convenient. Our one complaint about the room was the incredibly small shower. We expected the room, the elevators and just about everything else to be small, since it is Paris and the buildings are older. We are normal if not smaller than average people. It is easy to accidentally shut off the water just by bending over or nearly flood the bathroom if you unhook the shower head. If you are more than 5 feet 8 inches tall or consider yourself to be a wider body person or just care about the shower a lot, this may be a problem. Also, bring your own bar of soap and maybe even shampoo, as only 2 small packs of the latter and none of the former are provided.We did not try the breakfast buffet, as there were at least 2 excellent boulangeries (frequented by students and other locals it seems) within 1-3 min away.The staff are very friendly and do try to speak English readily.Of note, 2 Euros per day of city tax is required [...]All in all, I think this hotel is an excellent 2-3 star hotel. It's a great value for the location (clean, comfortable, safe, quiet rooms). If the hotel is just for a place to sleep and shower, this is a good choice for you!

Trop loin du métro. Globalement mérite deux étoiles.

Il serait intéressant que le numéro d'appel de la loge soit affiché dans la chambre afin qu'il soit possible d'appeler le veilleur de nuit, par exemple à 2 heures du matin, pour lui demander de calmer les ardeurs de vos voisins de chambre qui visiblement ne font aucune différence entre un hôtel et un appartement de banlieue.

La habitación está renovada, con parquet, wc nuevo y las camas muy cómodas. El servicio correcto, y la situación muy buena, entre los jardines de Luxemburgo y el barrio latino, a 10 minutos andando de Notre Dame. Hotel muy aconsejable en relación calidad/precio y siendo París, sin duda repetiría.

Beaucoup de bruit, dans le couloir ou l'escalier le dernier matin à partir de 5h30/6h00.

Très propre,décoration zen.Hôtel agréable.Seul le petit déjeuner était trop simple
