BAD
the hotel was ok everything was extra the internet the breakfast. Some of the staff was very friendly and some showed they did not like Americans and weren't helpful at all. Requested a 2nd floor room when we got there no rooms were avaiable except on the 1st floor in the back of the hotel we felt like it was in the alley very disappointed would not stay there again.

Nice hotel, good location
It was a nice hotel, with spacious rooms (for Paris). Clean with courteous staff and a good location near Sacre Coeur. The area was quite nice as well. A bit of a walk to the river but nothing you can't handle. We chose to walk through to lovely street then go the underground Metro route.

The location is very good, and the staff are friendly but they could atleast have a shower curtain in the bathroom and a hook to hang the clothes. Just one towel rail for both fresh & used towels.

The hotel has a great location with connections to METRO & BUS which with the PARIS VISITE card helped our family to go visit all what we wanted. The staff is friendly and really helpful and all requests were answered the best posible way.We did appreciate [...],[...],[...] as well as the cleaning staff which did every single day agreat job.It is more to say but as a note I want to inform you that we've been really happy. As a note and this is not taking from anything we've liked there maybe a small fridge in each room will help .Thank you guys

We moved to the Grand Hotel De
We moved to the Grand Hotel De Turin after a short stay at a small hotel in the Bastille-- and wished we hadn't. It wasn't the neighborhood's sketchyness that was the problem (prostitutes, strip clubs, pimps, etc.)-- it was the tourist trap nature of the entire area. Looking for a fresh individual pizza? Don't count on spending less than 17 dollars. Looking for good service? Forget it. The hotel itself was clean and fairly comfortable, but the staff was not particularly helpful and kept trying to upsell us stuff that we didn't need and that I'm sure they got a commission on-- car to the airport, fancy restaurants, etc. Internet is incredibly slow and they charge 2 euros for 24 hours of access. Not the worst hotel in paris by any means, but we recommend that if you're on a budget, try the bastille area-- it's much more reasonable and fun.

Decent hotel for the price
The hotel's location isn't near the most desirable location (it's off the red light district, Pigalle) but in the daytime, it's not so bad. The concierge staff are helpful and friendly. The rooms are on the small side but they are relatively clean. In all, for someone who is not in the room most of the time and explore Paris, this hotel is not a bad place to stay. It provides you a decently clean room and a private bathroom.

Money-saving tip:
Short walk from hotel
To save some money, during your stay at this hotel, there is a very good bakery called Arnaud Demontel, two blocks away on Rue de Martyrs to have a croissant or baguette for under 3 Euros. Instead of opting for breakfast at the hotel.

The location of the hotel was
The location of the hotel was very good. Near to sacre cour and GAre du Nord station. Initally I heard that the Pigalle area is not so good to be out in night as its red light area. But I didnt found any issues though I was with my wife. The hotel is on other side of this area. Also there are lot of restaurants near by to hotel so its crowded as well. Its slightly costly considering the size of the room and the facilities. The lifht is too small(Not more than 2 persons, if with big luggage then only one person). The bath area is very small. The worst thing which I found was that the twin room was given instead of double bed and the beds were having wheels so it used to move in night.

Front Desk was helpful and attentive,
Front Desk was helpful and attentive, and took an interest in the guests. Rooms were a bit small, but I think typical for this class of hotel, and were quite suitable for my stay. Small lift that only went to the 5th floor (out of 6 floors), but this wasn't a real problem at all. Street was noisy, but I think that was typical for all of Paris. Would definitely stay their again!
