Would recommend
Quirky, but alright.
The hotel itself is in a great location and the room was pretty decent. It's a few blocks from Notre Dame and was recently renovated; perhaps a little strangely (carpet on the second floor is made to look like bricks). Free wifi was also a plus. The staff was pretty friendly and the place was clean. They make you leave your key at the door, which after having my camera stolen on the train weirded me out a little, but that could just be me. I will say that the biggest reason problem were the bathrooms; they afford NO privacy. The room we were in featured a toilet in a glass enclosure and while you may not have been able to see through it on the side facing the bathroom, you could see shadows through the walls and you could hear everything. The stall was also small enough that my 5'2 girlfriend was even banging her knee's/elbows on the walls. I'd book the hotel again, but not without calling to make sure we got a room with a more private bathroom. I'd suggest that the small rooms are not for any more than one person.

The room was nice enough but the guy at the front desk was less than friendly/helpful, internet access only worked when I walked way down the hallway by the elevator and the entire hotel did not have one iron to borrow. I wouldn't recommend this to anyone.
