- In order to surprise its guests, Kube Hotel team created The Ice Kube, an Ice Bar at - 15°C. If you are in search of new sensations, let you adventure into the frozen zones of the KUBE in complete comfort, a special Ice Kuber clothing is supplied : parkas, gloves, caps for each participant. -15° centigrade, 20 tons of transparent glass lit up by multicolored leds, 6 metres of bar counter and a crystal sound, The Ice Kube is experimental. A magical environment, surrealist and different, more real than nature. Vodka cocktails are served IN the rocks to set minds and bodies alight. The Bonus: To remember this striking moment, the confirmed participants can see their photo on a postcard. We knew the hotel was close to Gare de Nord, but since we did not do any location research, took a cab. He did not recognize the address and called the number on the reservation and then proceeded to take us to the sister Hotel (not the Kube). Welcome to Paris. You can walk from the Gare de Nord, but don't expect a good location. A French friend referred to the neighborhood as "little Baghdad". Although the price was good, the hotel is already a little dated and I cannot tell if it is well maintained. This was probably hot when it opened for a bit due to the bar (also tired) and "trendy" neighborhood during the real estate boom. I'd avoid this hotel unless you need to desparately be near Gare de Nord.
