Classic French sophistication in the aristocratic district of Paris
Villa Beaumarchais incorporates the aristocratic identity of the Marais district into its décor. After all, the 50-room property is next to Place des Vosges, the oldest planned squared in the City of Light and the former royal hunting pavilion. Well located and remarkably quiet
Well located and remarkably quiet (rooms face inwards around four sides of an open square). Larger bathroom than expected in Paris. Did not have breakfast, preferring the less expensive and smaller choices in local cafes. This hotel is good value; we would definitely consider it again.

EASY GUEST
A 4 STAR HOTEL MY FOOT - I GIVE IT 1
The area is horrible. It is on a dead end street. They cannot call a taxi for you. You have to walk up a hill bags in tow to get to the main street and pray to find a cab. The service is even worst. To flat pillow, we asked for 2 extra pillow they could only find 1. The next day the extra pillow was gone. The safe was broken and beeping and they did not know how to fix it. I requested they provide me a phone number for a resturant they suggested we look it up on my computer. I informed them that I did not bring a computer. I also reminded them that their only guest computer was not working they were unable to assist. The company owns 24 hotels in Paris avoid all of them. Paris Group.

Not a four star
While we enjoyed the location of this hotel (not far from the Bastille, close to the metro and about a 15 min walk to the Seine) it was not a four star hotel. The floor we stayed on had limited lighting in the hallway due to water damage and the rooms are in need of a facelift. That said, the staff was very friendly and overall we enjoyed our stay.

Beautifully decorated
Very nicely furnished, friendly and helpful staff, bathrooms very nice and clean, beautiful courtyard. One thing I didn't like is that the housekeeping staff cleaned the room every day despite my "do not disturb" sign on the door (while I was away). But that's not a big deal and may be their policy.

Excellent location, a quiet place
Excellent location, a quiet place with excellent service. The breakfast was a pleasant surprice, in France you don't expect to have anything else than a few croissants.

Decent accomodation, great neighborhood
The hotel is clean, dependable and simple. NOT four stars, but probably was at one point. At the moment it is an easy solution for those interested in staying in Le Marais, only a few steps from some of the city's strongest galleries.

Our recent trip to Paris was made
Our recent trip to Paris was made even more enjoyable by our choice of hotel. Beaumarchais Villa was spotlessly clean and comfortable. The excellent buffet breakfast was served in a large bright conservatory area. The staff were friendly and helpful at all times. Metro links were a short walk from the hotel. The area was quiet, safe, friendly and interesting. We would recommend it highly and can't wait to make a return visit.

Nice and quiet hotel close city
