We arrived at the hotel and were greeted by a smiling reception staff. It took a couple of minutes at the desk before we were ushered to our room. That was a relief since we were very tired. We then discussed our shuttle to the airport and were assured that the shuttle driver will be advised to meet us earlier than the regular schedule to ensure plenty of time to check-in. The restaurant staff was equally professional and we had a very pleasant dinner. Check-out was a breeze.

This is a very comfortable and spacious hotel purporting to cater to customers' needs, but one gets the sense that one is being shafted by exorbitantly high extra costs. In particular, wifi access at 27 euros for 24 hours is laughably expensive, and since it is an indispensable service for business travelers and not a luxury, it smacks of extortion. In addition, the shuttle service informed us after we were in the van that they 'didn't go' to terminal 1. Huh??? It was only after we stated we would get off the shuttle that the driver said he would take us there. Overall one feels that the sense of welcome is undercut by crass money grubbing, and that service and hospitality are a thin veneer.

First Timer to Paris
Excellent choice for overnight stay prior to return flight home
The Hilton is an American style hotel with a huge lobby, big rooms, a large and beautiful bathroom (separate shower and tub), and an excellent value for Paris. Located adjacent (3 minute walk) to the train station, getting to and from the airport was a breeze (airport shuttle or Hilton shuttle van), and has very convenient access to the RER train - which is the easiest way to travel into downtown Paris. After spending 9 days in small, expensive European hotels, we stayed at the the Hilton the night before our return flight to the States. It was almost as if we were home again. The staff was very professional, and the clerk at Check-in did some research for us on the internet to locate a restaurant which was recommended to us. Above and beyond the call of duty. We would highly recommend the Hilton.

Wonderful end to visit to France
After a wonderful but exhausting two week stay in France which included a week in Paris and another week traveling in Normandy and Brittany, we were thrilled with our accommodations at the Hilton Paris Roissy. Our room was clean and very comfortable.

switched rooms due to no a/c; no a/c in second room either; technician came and turned down temp.(duh!); still no air; bed uncomfortable; cheap furniture; staff wouldn't admit a/c problem with no compensation offered; never again Hilton

Three Amigoes
Fun for a night lay over
The hotel was wonderful and staff extremely helpful. The only problem was finding the area for the free shuddle to the hotel. We left our bags and headed into Paris on the Metro.
