Dirty, Dark Corridors and Mold in Bathrooms
Was prepared for a 2-Star, however: No ID was requested by the desk clerk at check-in. corridor to rooms completely dark - required passing a motion detector near elevator to turn on lights! Rooms in the middle of the hallway, so no way to trip the detector when trying to go room-to-room. 1st room offered had mold and broken chair, faucet. 2nd rooms on different floor offered and looked better, but hall-way lights still on motion detectors. Safety issues too much to overlook, so left the hotel.

A traveling cheap student
Perfect Christmas Market Getaway
The hotel is in a great location for visiting the christmas markets while stil staying close to the train station. The kitchen was well stocked with pans, pots, and silverware. Only negative was the shower which was a little gross. Could use some cleaning. Overall great for the price.

Simple basic hostel
It is more like a hostel, not a hotel. Ok location, friendly staff, clean room, but very, very basic. WiFi is available but does not reach to every room. A little dark at the bathroom for proper shaving.

If it will be cheep - take it. But you will have what you paid for. NO INTERNET IN THE APARTMENT.

A cheap hotel, even when the week
A cheap hotel, even when the week long European Parliament is sitting. For accessibility to the city centre it's only a short walk. The room was very clean but basic enough. Not exactly a hotel to spend a lot of time in but for a short break it did perfectly well. Ideal for the train station and close to a large shopping centre so you could self cater if you were that way inclined!!

I stayed at the Victoria Garden
I stayed at the Victoria Garden mainly cause I had a special deal (35% discount). Had I had to pay the full price I'd have been disappointed by the amenities: while there were two hot plates, a fridge and some utensils (bottle opener, two glasses) I missed a pot or water boiler - couldn't even make myself some tea let alone cook. Furthermore, the TV showed only 4 programs - 2 French channels, 1 sports channel and CNN... At least, the room was clean and the location (close to the train station, rather quiet) was good. Next time I'm going to Strasbourg I'll still be looking for another place.

The location is really excellent,
The location is really excellent, the room was lovely and big and quiet. I didn't have a chance to buy washing up liquid and a sponge, so I felt guilty about leaving some dishes for the cleaner. I'd happily stay there again.
