Wonderful hotel to anchor a visit to Berlin
Until arriving, we did not realize how central and perfect a locatio this was to introduce us to Berlin. Our room was perfectly appointed and maintained. All the staff were more than courteous, and the concierge desk went out of their way to answer our questions, make our reservations, and direct us to interesting destinations.

Gem in Berlin
The hotel was centrally located for sights in Berlin. The staff was efficient. Great places to eat right in the square outside the front door. Took sightseeing hop on- hop off because we only had two days and the bus stopped across the street. Sights are mostly within walking distance. I received room upgrade and executive lounge previleges because I'm a Hilton honors member. This included free breakfasts, snacks, all kinds of drinks in a really pleasant lounge and free wifi. They gave us a late checkout - 3PM and it really helped us enjoy the city even more. The room was beautiful and very comfortable with A/C. I hated leaving the hotel at checkout. This is a really good value. If you are going to Berlin stay here!

My home away from home
Perfect location for both business and pleasure smack in the middle of Berlin. Spend a little more and get an executive room and enjoy the benefits om the exec lounge as well. Great service, very late checkout as well which was nice since our flight was very late. The restaurant was the only downside so avoid it and eat at any nice place around Gendarmenmarkt instead, there are a few really nice ones,

Very nice hotel in the centre
Very nice hotel in the centre of the old part of town, with attractions near by and out the front of metro train station.

Hilton in Berlin
The Hilton is a mess with all the renovations. Very noisy. I hate the new decor. Sleek/contemporary. New rooms are smaller. Pricey compared to similar hotels, however- you can't beat the location. You sit and have a drink at their cafe + you think you are back in the 1700's

Berliner Dom is great value-- wonderful views. I would pass on the Fernsehenturim ( expensive + lots of tourists). Holocust Memorial + DDR Museum sholud not be missed.

good location but overpriced
Breakfaast not included and greatly overpriced for the area. A marvelous German buffet was in easy walking distance. Hilton depends on tour buses and cruise ships to fillthe restaurant the casual tourist should lok elsewhere for good food at reasonable prices
