Nice hotel, reasonably priced
First time to the AWESOME city of Berlin! Wanted to stay in the city center. This was not anywhere close to the center, BUT, close to subway which was easy to navigate and very clean, day passes reasonable and available at front desk, along with other excursions available for purchase at front desk. Staff very helpful, free parking in front of hotel.Rooms clean, no AC on warm May days. Good value. However, found if you want to stay in city center many options available for a little more money. If would have stayed longer Hotel Adler directly across from Berlin Gate would have been my choice, it's definitely worth the extra money, and five star. Next time I'll know. Berlin is now my favorite city in Germany, sites to see, restaurants, shopping, history, Sony center, etc...DON'T miss it when in Germany, I'm going back!!!

Traveling Soldier
Berlin or Istanbul?
The hotel was pretty nice and the staff spoke great English. However, my car was broken into in their parking lot, the police towed it and the staff did not seem to be very concerned. Also, I wish included in the "Amenities" section was the fact that the hotel was right in the middle of Little Istanbul. If you don't mind extremely long walks to the tourist sights and the possiblity of crime, this hotel will be great for you.

Holiday Inn Berlin-Mitte
The location was superb, right in the middle of the city and easy to get to the trains. Nice staff, very helpful and spoke english. Our room location was a little inconvenient, we had to go up some stairs and then back down stairs at the end of the hall. The elevators did not service all floors. Overall, a very pleasant hotel stay.

Short walk from hotel
Whether in a group or alone, definitely get a day pass for the train/bus system. You get a discount for a group of people, and the passes are good all day for all public transportation. Go to the Service Stop at the ground level of the Gesundbrunnen train station to get your tickets.

The Receptionista, Blonde, short
The Receptionista, Blonde, short hair, who was working in the 8/october 2010 was absolutely, RUDE, bad humour, not giving any onfo to the other guests, and semmed like she did not want to work. We book this hotel because we stayed in some of them in usa and we received a very good attention. But This was disgusting. She did not want to give info to gust about nothing. Never will go again to this hotel. There are a lot more hotels in berlin.

Gutes Hotel. 200m bis U / S-Bahn Gesundbrunnen. Es wird empfohlen die Hotelgarage (12,-€/Tag) zu nutzen. Es wurden vorm Hotel nachts 3 Autos aufgebrochen.
