Great Hotel
The Adlon Hotel was perhaps the most famous hotel in Berlin during the 1920s and 1930s and featured in many current novels that take place during that time. While the original Adlon was torn down after the war, the new Adlon was built on the same location in the late 1990s. The hotel consciously (and justifiably) trades on this history and its combines "old world" elegence with sufficent modern conveniences to meet our expectations. The rooms are elegant, the staff very courteous and the location next to the Brandenburg Gate unbeatable. Hotel food is fine, but overly expensive with many cheaper alternatives nearby. While perhaps pricey by Berlin standards, our room cost was less than a standard business hotel in Manhattan.

luxury in the historic center of Berlin
Great location, excellent starting point for visitors who would like to go sightseeing every day. Right next to Brandenburg Gate and close to Reichstag, walking distance to tour buses and boat tours on river Spree. Situated next to many embassies, it is full of important politicians and official representatives from many countries. Hotel is astonishingly beautiful and classy, with flawless marble floors and piano playing in the background. The restaurant didn't have vegetarian options for dining, but the bar in the lobby area had salads and veggie club sandwiches. If you are mindful of your budget and feel bad spending much more than you would next door, then you should be aware of the prices. internet: 27 euros for 24 hours a pot of tea in the lobby sitting area: 11 euros breakfast: 29-39 euros per person However, there are plenty of other dining options nearby and it's great to get outside and explore anyways.

Excelente estancia, atención impecable,
Excelente estancia, atención impecable, esmerado cuidado de los detalles en la atención de un bebé. Lamentablemente fue excesivamente caro el costo de usar el teléfono desde la habitación.
