Intercity Berlin Ostbahnhof

The location is very convenient to all the major attractions. Berlin wall is just minutes away by walk. The staff is very polite, courteous, and go out of their way to help. We cannot say enough good things about them. Couple of suggestions for improvement. (a) It will be good to have cable channel CNN in the room. (b) It seemed that the water in the shower stall was draining somewhat slowly. It may be good to check this out.

Nice, convenient hotel, very close to East Side Gallery. The free train pass helped get us on our way quickly especially since the hotel is pretty much inside a large train station. The front desk staff spoke perfect English and was extremely helpful with recommendations. The rooms were nice. This is a good hotel, which was reasonably priced.

The convenient location and good price made this hotel a winner. Located right at Ostbahnhof metro station, made it easy to get anywhere in the city in minutes. Located right next to the largest piece of the old Berlin Wall which is now a blocks long open air art gallery. We had free public transportation passes from the hotel -not sure if that was standard, I think it was for prepaying online, but they were a great deal! No muss, no fuss to get around town. Only complaint would be a lack of free wifi.

Booked this for one night at the end of a Bike/Barge trip in Early June. Hotel very convenient at the Ostbanhof train station. Great if you are lugging baggage. Didn't get the room I needed and asked for when booking online. Room did not have A/C which was even a bit of a hassle in the cooler weather, but not too bad. beds typical European with firm mattress, just a duvet sheet and really sad pillows. Bathroom sufficient and good shower head. No room to relax in room, just bed and chair. Charge for wireless which was weak anyway. Staff was very helpful and courteous and fluent in English. Restaurant/bar was closed for the evening due to a private function which was a bit inconvenient as we just wanted to eat and crash. But staff pointed to a great spot that was just a few train stops away so it worked out fine. Right next to the east side gallery which was worth seeing (street art on the wall that's still standing) and was perfect to do before we checked out the next morning. Lots of conveniences with the fairly large train station. Didn't notice any train noise at night either.

This hotel has a great location - right inside the Ostbahnhof which allows you to get in and out of town easily! Clean rooms, friendly staff - great for singles, couples, friends!

sehr günstig gelegen für Benutzer öff. Verkehrsmittel. Sauber, zweckmässig ohne unnötigen Luxus. Werde ich wieder buchen.

séjour excellent, personnel très sympa et serviable, chambre très propre et confortable. j'ai dormi fenêtre ouverte, bruit pas trop dérangeant!! très pratique les transports gratuits

Hotel situé à la "Ostbahnof" à 2 stations de S-Bahn (doit 5 min) d'Alexanderplatz ! propre, lit très confortable, salle de bain nickel : très bonne adresse sur Berlin ! Juste en face de la East Side Gallery (partie du Mur de Berlin de 1.3 km). L'insonorisation est impressionnante : on n'en entend absolument rien de l'extérieur (trains, voitures). A recommander !

L'hotel Intercity est directement situé dans la gare. Et comme les transports sont gratuits pour les clients de l'hôtel, ceci est très pratique. Malheureusement, l'inconvénient est le bruit des trains (en revanche, fenêtre fermée, le double vitrage est très efficace).
