Gate and Hackescher Markt. Classy and light wooden guestrooms with flat screen tv and easy chairs. Bathroom with floor heating and bidet. Restaurant with integrated show cooking and Tapas Bar with outside terrace. Lobby Bar and roof terrace.

My first time in Germany and decided to choose this Hotel due to its location. Room was a bit pricey but well worth it. The train station is literally across the street. Room was clean and luxurious. Also has a nice view of the shopping street.

Great value/location
Melia Berlin has everything one needs for a comfortable stay in Berlin: -It's centrally located, within walking distance from most touristic attractions and also a couple of minutes away from a large train station (multiple U-ban and S-ban lines) which makes it very easy to venture further away from the center. -It has large, comfortable and clean rooms which are pleasantly furnished. -Hotel staff and amenities are everything one can hope for, but maybe not more. -Rooms are attractively priced which means great value! -Only thing more I would have liked to have was free internet. Overall great hotel, highly recommended.

Great Hotel, Great Location.
Terrific location virtually opposite the railway station and a short walk from Unter dem Linden and access to all the big tourist sites - we did not need to use public transport except the train (3 Euro) to and from the airport. The hotel itself is terrific value and breakfast is an essential buy as you can fill up with good food virtually till an evening meal. Rooms were large, well furnished and ultra clean. Staff are friendly and efficient. Cannot recommend too highly.

City Break
The hotel is clean with all the facilities expected in a modern 4 star hotel. Staff were very helpful and extremely curteous. The location by the river in Mitte Berlin is superb and within easy reach of a huge range of Berlin's major attractions. Highly recommeded. We would use again if we ever come back to beautiful and fasinating Berlin

Berlin Stay
Hotel has excellent location; able to walk to many tourist sites. Train station very close, less than 5 minute walk. Good-sized room & great buffet breakfast. Front desk staff not very hospitable though. Would stay again.

For delicious, reasonably priced chocolates, visit Fassbender & Rausch located down Friedrichstrasse (street hotel is on) & left on Mohrenstrasse.

Fantastisch weekend
The hotel was just great. Perfect location, very central to everything and public transport just a few meters away. The rooms were very comfortable, and we had no troubles. Staff very helpful and friendly as well. Overall great experience.

Absolutely fabulous hotel, location was perfect, spotless, friendly staff, great value. I will stay there again on my next visit and would recommend to anyone visiting Berlin. Great city!

Choose The Melia Hotel
The hotel was perfect. The room is comfortable, the location is convenient, the staff is friendly, the gym is appropriate. What else can you ask for? I will answer this question myself - I wish the package included internet access and breakfast, but it didn't. So, set aside some money to buy an internet hotspot and to eat breakfast out. It is worth it!

Great hotel
We were there for 3+ days and found the room to be beautifully decorated and the staff very helpful. The location can be better in Berlin. On the second day we had an air conditioning malfunction in the evening. They offered to move us entirely or that we sleep in another room returning the next day. We sleep in the other room. The next afternoon after sight seeing we found a bottle Champagne, a nice bottle of water and some candies in our room with a note. Yo do not find this kind of response everywhere.
