The Ameron Hotel Ascot interprets the world of smart business hotels with 44 fine English styled rooms. An unusual hotel with a pleasant private atmosphere in the heart of Cologne - smart service included. Enjoy not only the stylish lobby bar but also the excellent gym & health club (free of charge for guests): 350 sqm with state-of-the-art equipment and many other features incl. sauna/solarium. Last complete renovation 2004, last partial renovation 2001, number of floors: 7, total number of rooms: 44, number of single rooms: 11, number of double rooms: 33, of which with 2 separate beds: 5, of which have a double bed: 27, of which are suitable as a triple bed room: 3, Garni hotel, city hotel, business hotel, trade fair hotel Breakfast Eur 8,00 per person / day

very nice hotel

I fully enjoyed my stay at this hotel. The only thing is the hotel is located at the edge of the area which may become little noisy during the weekend nights because of the all bars and discos.

Köln

An öld home constructed perhaps 1800, reconstructed as a hotel some 20 years ago (info from desk clerk). Parking limited but public garage across the street. The lobby is up a flight of stairs (short) with no easy way to park the car in front and no lift rom the street. Staff courteous and helpful. Breakfast included and of good quality.

Nightlife tip: Short walk from hotel

"Clubs" of various sorts abound. A rhythic beat was our lullaby all night and still going in the morning.. The DOM is a 15 minute walk away
