Superb location
The location is absolutely superb within the old walls of Cologne history in the heart of the city, close to museums and shopping.There, the cathedral rocks us with its great sound of its famous bells.The terrace bar is a good place for a drink as well as the traditional Fruh brewery just around the corner .Rooms and beds are ok.The staff is nice.Needs a little decorational shape-up to gain back its elegant glamour, due to its architectural richness.

Superb Hotel
A hotel in an absolute superb location, two minutes from main train station, opposite cathedral, and christmas market right outside the door. Friendly staff, comfortable rooms with great double glazing not a sound from outside, rooms & bathroom really clean. Highly recommended for visits to Cologne as it is central for most things.

Cologne at the Dom
We were extremely fortunate. We were upgraded to a very large room overlooking the Cologne Cathedral and the Christmas market. Fantastic room and really nice hotel. Only bummer was the staff in the bar were not on their game with customer service. My wife and I couldn't get served for over 20 minutes one night.

Amazing location! Amazing restaurant!
As the name indicates, the hotel is right on the Domplatz next to the famous Dom cathedral. The hotel itself is amazing, with nice, quiet rooms. The restaurant (Le Merou) is also to die for - make sure you try the Ananas desert (we had it 3 days in a row!).

Try a Kolsch beer at one of the many bars nearby. They are served in tiny glasses, and you are expected to have more than 1!

just a little improvement required
just a little improvement required in the bathroom area, to stop the water in the shower from spraying over the side and making the floor slippery. apart from that, it was excellent and we will go back with our friends!

Das Meridien Dom Hotel Köln ist
Das Meridien Dom Hotel Köln ist die ideale Brücke zwischen Erde und Himmel. Direkt auf der Domplatte gelegen kann man die Domfassade fast mit Händen greifen, sich zurücklehnen und dem Klang der Glocken lauschen. Unsere Zimmer waren sehr komfortabel eingerichtet. Das Frühstück ist sehr reichhaltig, mit 28,00 € aber selbst für diese Hotelkategorie recht teuer.
