- Superior Room
- Superior room with one double bed. Spacious rooms with approximately 24 sqm, facing the cathedral or the river rhine - free softdrinks from the minibar.
- Junior Suite
- Juniorsuite with 45 sqm located on the 7th floor. It offeres separate bed- and living room with a comfortable sitting area and two TV-Sets.
- Classic Room
- Classic Double Room with one double bed. Comfortable rooms facing the glass roofed courtyard, therefore not as bright as other room categories and no possibility to let in outside air.
- Comfort Room
- Comfort Double Rooms with double bed . Spacious rooms with 24 sqm, on floor 2-5 situated at the south side of the hotel.

great location-ok hotel
great location, really nice breakfast buffet. Rooms good size for Europe. Decor is a bit dated and needs to be replaced. Room was clean, bed ok. Great location.

Quiet rooms, great views
We enjoyed our stay at the Maritim Cologne, the view of the Dom from the Superior room upgrade was great. The room was very quiet, we never heard any noises from other rooms or from the plumbing. Could be a European thing, but the room came with two small separate beds instead of one king-size bed, which didn't seem to be an option, this isn't ideal for couples. The location is great, within walking distance of the Dom and other tourist interests. Can also walk to the Koelnmesse convention center, so we didn't even need a car for our stay in Cologne.

In Hotel
Breakfast must not be a high priority in Cologne since it was surprisingly difficult to find a good American-style breakfast nearby, so you might as well use the breakfast buffet in the hotel.

The conference center at cologne.
I travel a great deal, and I've stayed at a very large number of hotels. Here the staff was extremely professional, fast, and effective. The rooms were immaculate, and the layout of the hotel was great. The place is an excellent conference center, but it is a conference center and if you're staying in cologne but not for a conference, you might want to keep that in mind. The only complaint is that the mattress and bed were extremely uncomfortable. Also, in contrast with the typical European shower, which has almost no water pressure to save on water, these showers were of such high pressure that it was painful. The restaurants in the hotel were FABULOUS, but the room service food was tasteless. All the more reason to use the restaurants!!

The cathedral looks great at night. As does walking along the river. Both of these are < 2 minutes away.
