The Steinberger is centrally located in the middle of the square that is at that center of the tourist area of the City. The restaurant is phenomenal, the staff is friendly and helpful. Great hotel.

Das Hotel liegt ruhig an einer stark befahrenen Straße. Als gut befinde ich die direkte Nachbarschaft zu einem alten Brauhaus.
Fußläufig ist die Innenstadt gut zu erreichen.

Lower level will have traffic noise if open any window. 30-minutes (each time) free wi-fi Internet service only located at LOBBY area. Expensive drink charge inside Room mini-bar. Otherwise, it's a really comfortable & value-for-money 4-Star Hotel. Recommended to all traveler. Just 1 minute walk to MacDonald is a PLUS.
Hotel's car to Dresden Airport is EUR15 only, no need to call a taxi when your back way to Airport.

We used this hotel as a base for touring Dresden. The hotel itself and its staff were wonderful. However, the breakfast is too expensive and too comprehensive for what we normally eat each morning; thus, it was good that it was not included in the price. We found that the hotel was well within walking distance to everything that we desired to see. Later, we learned that it was also very nearby to running paths that we might have considered it we had not planned on and done so much walking.

The hotel is old but clean, and the location is also good. Even though it is located in the neustadat, it is aside the river, and I could take photo in the bank.
Walking to the theater is also easy. If you go to the hotel from Dresden Neustadat Bahnhof, it costs only 5 euro by Taxi.

modern hotel in old-fashioned city

This modern hotel is a 5 min walk from the Zwinger and opera house. It is also close to a number of tram lines. The room (I was on the 5th floor) was spacious for a German single. I liked the funky bathroom and artwork.
The hotel seemed rather quite overall. The breakfast seems overpriced at 15 Euros and the front desk staff was inconsistently friendly. My floor also seemed to smell of smoke, although everything looked very clean. Wifi is included and worked fine.

The traditional and family Dresden hotel "Rothenburger Hof" is located in Dresden Germany government district called the "Neustadt". It is about a kilometer from the pedestrian shopping-trip Hauptstr., within walking distance of the historical "Altstadt" with the Semper Opera House, Hofkirche (Catholic Court Chapel) and the Zwinger with it's exhibition of Dresden porcelain and meissen porcelain.The recently renovated house has 26 double rooms (Bed and breakfast in Dresden Germany), which can also be used as single rooms. All rooms are very comfortable and furnished with a bathroom en suite, color television, radio and mini-bar. Certain rooms also have a balcony. For long-term guests and business-travelers, we offer 13 hotel-apartments, which have various sizes and are equipped with a kitchen.Since April 1999 you can relax in our wellness area equipped with a sauna, Turkish bath and a solarium. Moreover we have a fitness room, an indoor swimming pool, and a children playground. Tram stops, which conveniently travel to each and every direction, are located near the hotel. El edificio de enfrente está lleno de graffitti, pero no hay que asustarse: es una zona como de estudiantes, y la tiene muy buen ambiente, bares de jazz, tiendas de diseno... y a 15 minutos del centro, por zonas amplias y peatonales. El servicio del hotel es excelente: repusieron el secador estropeado en 5 minutos. Hay detalles que se agradecen: el desayuno buffet, buenísimo, hasta incluye café expresso (un lujo en Alemania), y vino espumoso; el albornoz y las zapatillas; el café, zumo, pastas y fruta en el lobby; el chocolatito sobre la almohada... Estupenda opción!

InterCity Hotel in Dresden was a positive experience.
It is located very close to the central train station of Dresden, and it is at the same time only 10 minutes walk away from the old town of Dresden.
The room was clean and looked to be quite new. The staff were helpful, and a card for public transportation by tram was included in the price.
If I should point out a bad thing it would be the price for using the wireless internet. It was quite expensive.

ドレスデン中央駅から約300メートルの便利な立地、重たい荷物があっても中央駅から歩いて５分以内で到着できました。トラムの停留所はさらに近くホテルから１分のところにあり、市内中心へ乗り換えなしに移動できます。中心地まで歩いても20分程度です。
部屋は狭くシャワーのみでしたが、昼間は観光で、夜はゼンパーオペラで外出し、ホテルは夜の宿泊と昼寝や休憩に使ったので満足できました。
朝食は種類が豊富で、平均以上のレヴェルだと思いました。

The hotel is beautiful and very close to all the major tourist attractions in the city of Dresden. The staff is very helpful and co-operative. The hotel is even close to all shopping centers and very well connected to the airport through trams which are just a couple of minutes walk from the hotel.

Great experience. The breakfast, although expensive, is absoultey the best most extensive breakfast to be found anywhere. Great customer service, very friendly around the clock. Language was important to me as a non-German speaking foreigner: everyone at this hotel is fluent in Eglish, some spoke it even better than I!
Great location is your visit it to see the historical old town. Everything is within a few minutes walking distance and the views, day or night, are great. Right near the river and a good place to be!

Very nice rooms, spacious with good amenities. Nice country setting for being near a large city. Good access to your car with an excellent parking garage. Great for winter travel.

Excellent neighborhood location. Beautiful gardens. Large rooms. Large parking garage. If using parking garage go to the very end, rooms are directly above the end of the parking spaces. Long walk from the reception area.

L'hotel si trova fuori dal centro, ma ha davanti una fermata dell'autobus e in 5 minuti si arriva in centro....sempre, sia di giorno che di notte...siamo in Germania e i mezzi pubblici non sono efficienti...di più!!! Le stanze sono spaziose, pulite e in albergo si mangia bene a prezzi accesibili. Consigliato!!!

Got hotel for very good price (£35 per night) so can't complain. Gym could do with updating. Only issue I had was that the Park Plaza website states that the hotel now has free wireless connection but this was not the case. Handy for public transport to airport and city centre. Would recommend.

The Baumwiese is one of the most traditional and well known Guesthouses in Dresden. Already in July 1679 it was privileged to sell Dresden beers and wine. 1995 the Baumwiese was completely renovated. Today it raises beyond its baroque facades as a historic Gasthaus offering the regional cuisine of Saxonia and Swabia. In a corresponding contrast - the hotel: Individual designed rooms, furnished with berch woods, cobalt blue fabrics in the living area and black marble in the bath rooms.
Breakfast (buffet) is avalable for 12,50 per person / day. (monday-friday 06.30-10.00; saturday + sunday 07.00-10.00)

Das Hotel liegt an einer Durchgangsstrasse und ist zu laut. Außerdem ist es etwas umständlich mit öffentlichen Verkehrsmitteln in die Innenstadt zu fahren.
