Hotels in Old City, Frankfurt

The hotel is almost good enough. The heating system was not good. It was so cold in the room. The cost of internet access didnot show before connecting. Therefore, I thoght that it was free of charge. But It was billed. I didnot comlain of it because of small amount.

This was a disappointing hotel experience - staff were rude, unfriendly and did not follow through. I have stayed with NH hotels in other European cities and was expecting a high standard of service. Unfortunately I was disappointed - on two of the three days I stayed here my room was not cleaned, when I contacted staff they promised to rectify the situation immediately - two hours later no change. Disappointing and will prevent me from booking with NH in the future.

We were in Frankfurt for business (attending Music Messe) and pleasure (a drive down Romantic Route). The location for the hotel was great within easy reach of transport and shopping. The staff were friendly and the rooms clean. We did not have the breakfast offered at the hotel as you can get better deals at closeby cafes.

We stayed here twice, bookending a weekend trip to the country. The first night, our room was quite small and there was a lot of noise, but it was comfortable and had A/C. (Not all rooms have A/C - common in Europe.) However, we were able to leave one large suitcase for the weekend so we didn't have to drag it on the train, and it was waiting for us in our larger, quieter room when we got back!! This hotel was also close to the underground and several historic churches, plus provided umbrellas and printed our boarding passes.

This hotel was located very conveniently to the main train station. The staff was very accommodating and spoke English well. The rooms were spotless and very modern. The shower was interesting in that it was a complete glass enclosure so as long as you are sharing the room with someone you don't mind seeing you naked then it shouldn't be a problem. Of course the toilet was privately enclosed. All in all I would stay there again.

The hotel is ideally suited for the business traveler, and is a good relative value for anyone staying in Frankfurt. All the modern amenities you would expect were available, and the standard room cost came with an excellent breakfast included. Lobby is a bit pedestrian, but the hotel itself is first rate.

Its a great hotel. Perfectly located but terrible in-room dining. I always test hotels in this category because I wake up a lot in the middle of the night and I'm hungry. Jumierah failed to deliver in this category and needs to work a lot on improving their product offering as well as the quality of food.

Leider ist das Frühstück nicht im selben Raum möglich wie immer, sondern in der Bar und in Nebenräumen. Damit fehlt einiges an Stellfläche für das Buffet und die Getränke welche sonst morgens gereicht werden. Leider sagte niemand beim CheckIn, dass das Frühstück wo anders stattfinden. Beim Platzsuchen haben wir uns dann dazu entschieden extern zu frühstücken.

Hotel was great, just very surprised that given expense of hotel had to pay extra for internet access.

Great location near the Zeil Shopping Centre and restaurants. It is also next to St. Paul Cathedral and Roemer- City Hall of Frankfurt. Very convenient to get by to all the tourist places to visit. Hotel room is small but with sufficient facilites to meet traveller's need.

Me gusta el hotel por su excelente ubicacion y el muy buen servicio. Las habitaciones y baños son pequeños pero adecuados. El desayuno muy bueno.

The hotel is close to the Ostbanhof metro station, so I could easily venture downtown or to the airport. Room was very clean and had a great view of the Frankfurt skyline;

Decent hotel, good deal. Located in the eastern part of town but tram 11 or subway U6 quickly take you to downtown locations. Nothing fancy but clean, good size room and bathroom. Unfortunately, no free internet access from the room. Don't know if room was air conditioned, it was not very hot in late june. Didn't try their breakfast, there's a cafe at the corner.

Clean, well run hotel with great beds and good size rooms. Staff polite and helpful. Excellent location!

We were only in Frankfurt for 4 days and the Westin Grand was a great fit for our needs. Located close to a central subway stop, good dining and shopping, the best value for us was upgrading to the Executive Club level. The staff was very helpful and we enjoyed a good breakfast, daily snacks and before dinner glass of wine. Our room was comfortable and we enjoyed a great massage at the spa. i would highly recommend this hotel.

Albergo gradevole, facilmente raggiungibile con qualsiasi mezzo (anche a piedi), situato vicino alle principali attrazioni. La metropolitana è vicina e anche la fermata dall'autobus. L'unico aspetto negativo sono stati gli schiamazzi continui ad ogni ora della notte da parte degli altri clienti. Inoltre, sul sito dell'hotel c'è scritto che il personale è poliglotta e sa parlare italiano, ma non è vero.

The hotel is very close to city center (shopping area). The hotel is clean, the furniture is old fashioned and the walls color is irritating (orange). The price is OK if the booking is made 1-2 months before your arrival. A good included continental breakfast. The owner and the personnel are very kind and helpful.

Large room, by European standards, clean, and bright. Staff were friendly enough, and spoke good English. Location was a bit further from the city center than I had anticipated, but still walkable. Hotel is next to a hospital, so there was noise from ambulances through out the stay, which might bother light sleepers. Hotel charges a lot for wireless internet access, but an internet cafe is within a short walk.

it is a very old hotel with minimal comfort.

The hotel was very close to the main shopping street and the old city. It is also only 5min (300m) from the subway line coming from the airport. Overall, the rooms were very clean and the staff was friendly. The only part that we did not like was the surrounding neighborhood. There were "dance" clubs across the street and the night life continued until 4-5am. On the flip site, there were a few restaurants that were open late and on weekends.

the room is nice, has a internet connection, i was in a non-smoking area, the bed is good and the bathroom also. The service is good! in my return i will take the hotel again. ahh i near of the centertown

Dieses Hotel tut so "als ob". Die Grundidee ist gut, aber die Ausführung läßt zu wünschen übrig. Im Zimmer ein schief hängender Lampenschirm, in der Minibar eine Bierflasche gefüllt mit Leitungswasser, kein Papier und kein Stift zum Schreiben, stattdessen ein Wust von zum Teil sinnlosen Informationen. Schade.

Nice boutique hotel, with great atmosphere. Conveniently close to all public transportation stops. About 15 minutes of fast-paced walk to Zeil and City Center , but it still feels a little far out. The walk is not particularly exceptional and you do need to pass some strange parts of industrial / residential areas. However, being from NYC – I felt right at home. Hotel staff was wonderful, very friendly & helpful. Everyone goes out of their way to make you feel right at home. Rooms are clean, cozy-small and bedding is very comfortable. I enjoyed my one week stay with only one negative comment: I was there in early December and although it was cool outside, the hotel rooms did not have adequate mechanical ventilation and often it was hot and uncomfortably stuffy inside the room. The windows were operable but I can see how it could be a problem for some guests when they open the window and endure the noise from the street and people talking and smoking below their windows. The breakfast is good and is served in the hotel for 15 Euros/PP, but for a cheaper alternative the bakery is next door and a Mega-Supermarket is 2 blocks away with it's own coffee shop and excellent selection of anything that you can imagine. There are few small good eateries nearby as well. I recommend this hotel and I can see myself coming back to stay there again.

walkedto and from hauptbahnhof and then to dinner. Got a great recommendation to a traditional German restaurant from the front desk staff. They couldn't have been more helpful. Interesting modern minimalist design rooms. Great value in early October.

A great hotel reasonably priced and a beautiful view! Staff was very friendly. I will definitely be back.
