The hotel is traditional yet modern downtown and 4 Star Hotel Directly across main Train Station Frankfurt Main Station Central location, in good reach of Frankfurt Trade Fair, the City and the Airport. Entire Hotel is equipped Fire Protection Sprinkler. Family owned since 1903 - 100 years of distinguished service. The hotel provides amenities like bar, business center, concierge, currency exchange, doctor on call, dry cleaning, gym, internet access-high -speed, internet access -wireless, laundry service, lift/ elevator, lobby, non-smoking rooms, reception, room service-24 hrs, safe deposit box, spa service, solarium and swimming pool-indoor as well as free mineral water (still or sparkling in our lobby 24 hours per day).Breakfast per person 15 is not included.

Great location for the price

The Savoy was a great bargain located ideally for our brief 2 day trip to Frankfurt. Old Town can be easily reached on foot along a beautiful river walkway from the hotel. Since we were catching a

Dining hint Long walk from hotel

A great old fashioned, local restaurant is Solberfass'je on the outskirts of Old Town. The food is excellent at about 1/2 the price found in tourist spots of Old Town.

The Städel Museum is small but lovely. It is a moderate walk just across the river. Frankfurt's most important art gallery, the Städel contains a small collection of most European schools of painting. The first floor features the works of German painters of the 19th and 20th centuries, as well as famous French Impressionists such as Renoir and Monet. There was one Matisse. The second floor offers visitors the pleasure of viewing an outstanding collection of Flemish primitives, 17th-century Dutch artists, and 16th-century German masters such as Dürer, Grünewald, Memling, Elsheimer, and many others with one of the most impressive paintings being Jan van Eyck's Madonna (1433). There was one Picasso sculpture and one Picasso painting. A few small Rodin sculptures.
