Sheraton Frankfurt Airport Hotel and Conference Center

I was traveling with a dog, there is an additional charge of 30 Euros for this pleasure. The hotel was very accepting of the dog and we were made welcome by all staff. There is not much space for walking your dog or finding any green space, however if you are in transit through Frankfurt Airport with a pet, I would highly recommend staying here. Rooms were excellent and very clean..... but you have European prices! was not cheap. Grocery store VERY nearby and a bar for those who would like to have beer and a burger/wings.

My stay was very nice. I especially appreciated the location; I only had to walk across the breezeway and then I was at the airport. The only drawbacks were the room furniture was a bit dusty and there was no special perk for the price.

It was handy to have the hotel so close to the airport that it was within walking distance. However, Internet access was available only at an added cost.

it was perfect for my Lufthansa flight out the next morning in terminal 1; although expensive. Flew into terminal 2 and after some serious walking and tram ride to terminal 1 made it to a maze-like lobby. Room was dated as were the public areas but clean. My tv did not work figured out that AC cord wasn't plugged into the tv from the wall. Wifi was too expensive $28 - for 24 hrs access. Dinner & window shopping at airport city mall worked really well didn't have to spend outrageous amounts for hotel food. Once Hilton opens across the way this hotel will have to renovate & lower prices to compete.

The hotel was walking distance over covered walkway from Frankfurt's Terminal 1 and free shuttle bus and sky rail was available from Terminal 1 to Terminal 2 for international flights. The staff were very friendly and helpful and the hotel provides internet access, including printing facilities, in the lobby with the first half hour free. In-room internet access was only EURO8 for an hour and daily/weekly rates were available. The room was spacious and very comfortable and the feather pillows are to die for!! Overall I was very happy with the hotel and its location.

It was very difficult to find the hotel when we arrived at the airport. We arrived from France at the opposite end of the airport and could find no signage at all. Various airport employees directed us but it seemed a long and tedious trek so we would advise obtaining explicit directions upon booking. The room was completely comfortable and quiet and the hotel staff were very friendly and helpful. We were startled by the expense of the meals especially breakfast which was a wonderful buffet but we are light eaters and there was no a la carte menu. There was a 32 Euro per person charge for the buffet. The wait staff were very pleasant and told us to take what we wanted and they would charge us accordingly but they could not tell us what those charges would be. We each had a small amount of admittedly very good granola, fresh fruit, yoghurt and coffee. The charge for that was 16 Euros each.

While it is conveniently located to the airport, which is a plus. the quality leaves something to desire. Upon getting into the room, I found out that even though the thermostat was on and the temperature was turned to the maximum, the room was cold. It took me two calls to get someone to come and fix the problem. I think when the room is cleaned after one guest the thermostat should be checked. The wake-up call was set for 5:00 a.m. but did not come through. I was told that the computer sent out the wake-up call but the telephone apparently did not register it for some reason. Be sure to check the telephone whether it is working. Due to its convenient location I can recommend it if you are tired and want to get to the hotel quickly. However, if you have the time a nearby hotel is more economical.

The location was super and the Front Desk Staff were most helpful. Nonetheless I had to contact the Front Desk to have a maintenance person connect the TV to power and replace a light bulb over a work surface. The repairs took place quickly but were preventable with proper daily room inpsections. The room was dated in that the towels in the bathroom were so thin they seem to have been placed in service 10 yrs ago. The location was SUPER and overall I would recommend the hotel for the first time traveler. Next time I will look for a better value for my travel dollar.

Lovely place to stay whilst we were waiting for a connecting flight the following day, would do it again. Very professional service and felt welcomed.
