QUIET LOCATION WITH DECENT TRANSPORTATION

STAY AT CROWNE PLAZA WORKED OUT WELL FOR ONE-TRIP TO SEE SOME OF HAMBURG HIGHLIGHTS. ARRIVED BY TRAIN AT HBF AND SOUGHT INFORMATION FROM TOURIST OFFICE.. ANYONE TAKING BUS SHOULD BE SURE TO KNOW WHICH SIDE OF STATION TO GET THE #6 BUS. I DID NOT REALIZE THERE WERE TWO PLACES AND I TOOK THE ONE GOING THE WRONG WAY. FOLLOWING THIS INITIAL GLITCH FOUND IT EASY TO TAKE BUS O U BAHN TO NEARBY UHLANDSTRASSE STOP AND TAKE SHORT WALK HOTEL. STAFF AT HOTEL WAS VERY ACCOMMODATING AND READY TO ANSWER A NUMBER OF QUESTIONS CHEERFULLY DURING MY STAY.

Sightseeing tip: Long walk from hotel

IT IS A LONG WALK TO ENTER OF HAMBURG THAT IS FILLED WITH CULTURAL, SHOPPING AND ENTERTAINMENT OPTIONS. NEARBY U BAHN STOP MAKES IT EASY TO GO FARTHER AFIELD WITHOUT PROBLEMS.

Das Hotel liegt in einer ruhigen

Das Hotel liegt in einer ruhigen Lage nur drei Busstationen vom Hauptbahnhof entfernt. Die Zimmer sind ausreichend groß und gut ausgestattet. Bademäntel und Badeschuhe werden gratis zur Verfügung gestellt, die Sauna ist allerdings kostenpflichtig. Das Frühstücksbuffet ist ganz ausgezeichnet aber mit 22 Euro pro Person und Tag nicht gerade günstig.
